The first arrival of hopefully more to come. I am just starting to build up a collection of quality tools. I have a fairly stocked Craftsman box as it is, but any additions I'll be making will be thought out (in my eyes) and seen as an investment. Nothing crazy here, but I'm excited nonetheless!
Today's Delivery:
Makita 12v drill/impact combo, Channellock 526 6.5" slip joints, Armstrong Maxx 1/4" and 3/8" ratchets, JH Williams (disappointed to see "Taiwan") 3/8" metric socket set, Wiha 1/4" and 3/8" metric hex bit socket set, SK T25 socket, and some Wera 1/4 drive bits for use with the impact driver.
Next on the list are a vise, mini pliers, files, torque wrenches, and of course - more bike tools. The goal with this is to equip the home workshop well enough that I'd rather work on my personal bikes at home than at the shop. And of course I want to have this stuff for other purposes as well, but bikes are obviously the driving force behind it.
Tons of great reading on this site and I'm extremely glad I was able to find it when I did. Sorry for the dissertation here but I'm very excited to be a part of this great community!
