Thanks, would be really cool to see pics of the double stamped sockets.

As promised. It's the 6 mm shallow. Sorry about that bad pics but my phone is all I have. This is the kit it came in. Small gray blow mold case. I tore the top off to fit in the drawer

And here's the socket. Silver eagle/husky

Kinda upset me I paid the money I did for it. Had I known I would have just went to Home Depot.

* edited to get pics to work

Makes sense. Apex/Danaher tools.
but way to drastic of a price difference in them.

Anybody have an equivalent for this Snap-On metric hex bit socket set? The SO item number is 106ETMAMY (click for a link) and here is a stock picture:

Don't think so....I believe that's one you just have to nut up and eat the cost. But hey, it is worth it.

VIM is a good alternative, but the SO warranty is just so damn easy for these.

I figured... I've used them in the bike shop and they are certainly drool worthy. I'm going to see how the Wiha units I snagged end up working out.

Just updated the second Matco section to include the crossover with the Sunex service cart and additional drawers, shelves and pry bar holders.

Also, recently updated the Matco/Armstrong/Craftsman pinless impact swivel sockets with their new Gearwrench twins.

Great thread, thanks for posting a worthwhile resource.
I buy most things from the truck and that will continue but I may refer to this for options on certain items.

Glad to do it. Saved myself a small fortune doing the research, and hope to do the same for other folks.

Any idea who makes the Matco NB109 prybar holder? It's in their current catalog but Matco says they're no longer available. The other option is the Matco PBR11 24 hole holder. Matco is asking $189.15 for that. These attach to their roller cabs.

Can't find any info since neither of those numbers bring up anything besides older GJ threads (or your question in this thread), and the Matco site only has the Sunex made prybar holders listed.:dunno:

I have a set that I bought used from a friend. He most likely got it off if the matco truck. If you look closely at it, I believe it says MAYHEW. Sorry about the rust.

I hate to pick on Matco.... But
It's not hard to do. Might be easier to go through the entire Lisle catalog and just match stuff up. Added the puller to the Matco section, thanks!

Does this set match up? Didn't see it.

Williams 50681 1/4-Inch and 3/8-Inch Drive Bit Socket Set, 32-Piece
Most likely the same as sold by Blue Point, but didn't see any direct set crossovers.

can we get this to be a sticky too?
Hopefully if enough folks request it.:dunno:

One of the best threads I have ever seen on any forum. Thanks for taking the time to do the original parts cross reference and then keeping it updated. I have learned a lot in the short time I have been on this site.

You ain't kidding.....I can't tell you how much I've saved new and used. I @an go to sales and pick up brand x tool for 5 bucks with a snap on right next to it for 20. And the oem tool is usually in better shape because it hasn't been beat on in a mechani@ type environment.

Was doing some research on an Astro terminal kit that I saw in the New Tool Arrival thread and found these:

Astro 78445 - MATCO ATK5

Lisle 57750 - MAC TT7750, MATCO WT577, Snapon TT3KT

Wilmar W89732 - STEELMAN 95839, MAC TT95839, MATCO MASTERM23
Excellent finds! I'll add them to the list.:rocker:

Sticky! Sticky!
To everyone that wants this thread as a sticky, feel free to send a message to the Mods. Would love to get it up there so we can keep it from getting buried and have more posts like the one from JDSV above that provided so many crossovers.
