FYI precision instruments made Snap-on Torque wrenches in the past, I don't know if they still do, however they were of coursed marked up almost 300% from SO. Precision Instruments is made in the USA. I've always liked the beam style, due to the torque setting, which is simple turn of the dial to the correct numerical value on the the left side of the wrench. I own both the SO 3/8 and 1/2 made by them. They are great torque wrenches. The only difference is the SO torque wrenches I have, are reversible. However, I don't know why they ever put this feature on the torque wrench, as you are never supposed to back off a fastener with a torque wrench.
