The first is included i believe, what other accs. will fit I imagine depends on size of gun/nozzle. But a circle guide of some time think would be nice. One of the nice things about so many picking this up is figuring out what works-what doesnt for this machine and sources.
Anxious-I see making templates for duplicate-able small parts....I need 4 3" 3/16" disks-do I carve them out of plate with the oxy torch and grind for an hour or wait 2 months...

How about a drill press and hole saw?

It states in the description that the holes are 0.25" and you need to drill them to accomodate your torch, so I was expecting to probably have to enlarge them. Thanks for the feedback.
Ah that is good to know they intended that. It was not in the instructions that came with the guide, but I see that now on the website.

bczygan, True.

Up to date, there is 205 units paid for and 35 unpaid invoices to go.

Next week, I'm going to be sending out reminders via Paypal. The deadline for final payment is March 1st.

In the meantime, if anyone notice that their status isn't what it should be. Please contact me asap thru email (as listed on Post #1)

Thus far, there's some loose ends with the following members:

#314 - hawkgt
#333 - PoohBear

The rest of these "members" (non-bold) have not responded and will be purged from the list. Those "members" (in bold) are still on the list and hopefully they will respond to missing info soon.

I'll let things sit for a while to let members catch up and on March 1st, the official tally will be posted for all to view.

In the meantime, enjoy some fun tidbits I've learned over the last 8 days,...

Sean

Fun facts:

Farthest buyer -

#237 - mkii_turbo of Torbay, Newfoundland. He's arranged for his shipment to be sent to Nevada to be forwarded by a company to him.

Closest buyer -

#124 - Aquamoose. What?

Ok, second closest buyer -

#243 - kdubbb who hails from Hayden, ID. A scant 55.2 miles across the border. Hi neighbor!

Tropical buyer -

#326 - toolmuchtool. I have a feeling that this guy is gonna be frustrated seeing the shipment pass him on Honolulu, Hawaii.

Most expensive shipment -

#326 - toolmuchtool. And this same guy is gonna watch it get it shipped back west to him!

World's best son -

#197 - jski32 - He's buying an extra, for his dad!

Actually it won't be so bad as Honolulu is on the southern side of the island and the shipping route means he'd have to go to north shore.

For some added salt, Those of us on the East coast may get ours before him.

Might have been posted already, is there an estimated date that these will be shipped out to the end users?

Thanks

Based on info below looks like May time frame.

I'd like to set the next deadline to be March 1st for payment to allow the funds to be consolidated & wired for the balance of the order along with the final count to China.

By then, I'll share with you all the info & numbers.

This should give some of you guys some flexibility.

If you decide to back out, there's no need to respond.

Thanks,
Sean

I think we're looking at May deliveries. An earlier update mentioned production being complete in April.

I just found the invoice buried in my spam folder and have just paid through Pay Pal.

This has been kind of a cool ride along and many thanks to all involved.

Hi,

I was on the list, I paid in full, and I am not on the list anymore. What happened?

Rich

Your invoice # isn't the same as your member #. Glad you replied via email to see that you were looking in the wrong place.

Unfortunately, no. Donations totaled $240.52. I'm putting this towards Bob's cutter.

Sent you an email about your status as an unconfirmed user. Had to decline. Look for the instructions that is included in the response from Paypal or check my email to you for alternatives. Sorry!

I don't show any correspondence from you at all. Did you verify the email as "[email protected]"?

I know I'll get jumped for this but...

Why is the guy who started the group buy and then abandoned us getting a free cutter? Didn't he just send a few emails asking pricing questions? Was there more to it?

If anyone should get a free one it should be the man who is going thru with it in my opinion.

I intended my donation for Aquamoose, but he's entitled to use it any way he sees fit.

Aquaticbob started the ball rolling on this group buy but had to bow out due to his regular (remember this was a side project) business getting busier

Aquamoose then took it over and finished it

Yes but is getting the ball rolling worth that? He sent several emails and started a list that other members ended up working on. I don't see that as being worth it but my donation can be used however
Aquamoose sees fit. I would prefer it to go him and or his kids. They will be doing more work than aquaticbob ever did on this.

Well, it was my decision. I've told Bob about it and he insisted that he doesn't get any due to the circumstances but I promised him one as I thought he got the ball rolling and he relented. I'm a stickler for being true to my word. For sure I wouldn't have started this on my own.

Sean,

You should be within a few dollars of having his paid for, including shipping.

How about everyone who hasn't donated, pitching in to get your machine taken care of.

I'm sending $10 right now, earmarked for that.

On another note, how about these last few guys who didn't meet the deadline for one reason or another. Is there any way to accommodate them?

Bill.

I just sent you and e-mail Sean, I am sending mine via money order along with a little extra for your troubles.

Heads up to any non-PayPal types like me, mine got rejected because I used a credit card (don't have a debit card). I am a cash guy with an emergency credit card so I have to go the money order route.
