very nice, what kind of car are those seats out of?

They're aftermarket. 6Le copies (I think... picked them up second hand) that are going in my Camaro.

Setting it up to be a fun car & run a few auto-x events.

Built a couple of carts for the welders and discarded the old HF one. It wobbled bad.

Cleaned up my new to me rolling bench. The top is aluminum. Hopefully I can find some steel to put over the top of it at a reasonable price. It just became my new welding bench.

I have exactly zero dollars in the carts and bench so far.

Pulled the geartrack off the lower section of the wall cabinets tonight. I'll re-use this in a different spot to mount some other items. Put a 1x2 behind the bottom of the cabinets to space it off.

Track I removed. Total of 3.5 4 foot sections.

Right now I've only got stuff in them that isn't regularly used. I may end up lowering them. I'll probably end up shortening or remove the shelf on the left and sliding them over and down. Empty space in the middle is for the TV.

:thumbup:For starters put a new end on the starter cable on my Cat 933. The engine died while I was moving some Earth. When I tried to restart it (no pony motor, direct start). I got a fire works display under the hood. The end had worked itself loose and melted the copper of the terminal. Soldered on a new end just in time to beat the rain.

Then got to working on the F250. A while back the engine caught fire and I had to have it towed home. So I put a new carb on a new manifold and built some thermactor block off plates out of stainless. I cant wait to get the intake gaskets in the mail from rock auto, so I can through it on and get it running again.

Sounds more busy than I feel like I was.

Cut up a sheet of ply into strips to use as shuttering (formwork) around the end of the old concrete slab in the veg garden where our *** of a neighbour ripped it up a foot past the boundary onto our side when he still had any enthusiasm for the pile of **** barn conversion next door. Just need to get a bit of base down and will then break out the mixer and make some concrete to fill it in. After I'd done the shuttering I started putting the rabbit netting on the fence across the end.

Had another alignment done on our motorcoach, found out it is dead on the money.

I then started machining new parts for some new long arms that I am building for my Jeep to eliminate the proprietary bushings in use. I am going to machine end sleeves to accept OEM Clevite style rubber bushings that are readily available and last much longer than the ones in my current control arms.

More work on the go kart. Need a 5/8 fine thread die to thread more of the spindle shafts as they are way too long (6" I needed 4" at most) also waiting on the one rear wheel with the hub for the brake drum and sprocket to show up so I can mock that up and weld on the other rear "axle"

Test fitted all the stereo to ensure it can all fit in place..( just a bit more adjustment ) This is going on my new wall of cabinets. Will be sanding and painting it to match Craftsman metal cabinets along the wall on the left and right.

Took down a shelf that the PO had up in the garage in preparation for moving my Gladiator cabinets over.

Friend came over and we worked on his FZ6 in the garage. Got the rear end stripped down to start test fitting a Hawk swingarm.

Torn down.

Some of the removed parts.

Test fitting the Hawk swingarm. Looks like it shouldn't be too complicated to fit with some bushings to accommodate the narrower swingarm.

Started machining the sleeves for my new long-arms for my Jeep. My Johnny Joints have been backordered so I will probably just finish up the machining tonight and then jump back on my trailer project over the weekend, see if I can get that completed before my suspension joints show up.

All the equipment is pretty old and or lower end, I've had the BSR EQ since 1985, the Denon receiver since 1994 ( just when surround sound was coming out it seems ) and the speakers are Baby Advents I have rebuild a year ago. I've had the speakers since 1988! The cassette deck was from eBay and holds 6 cassettes, paid under $80. For what appeared brand new. CD player came from EBay as well, even though it's Pioneer Elite, it's old and not near the top of the line, works really well, sounds good and put up with a garage environment for 2-3 years. The Bluetooth adapter is a rack mount Technical pro, super unit and under $50.00 the fan unit on top is Rockville and just paid $33.00 online. If you sense a theme, I'm into making work with what I have from over the years. This gets all my stuff in one place with a central look.
I could put this all on a iPhone ( which I have ) yet I still like putting in a cassette or hearing the CD player advance to the next CD. Call me old school, I'm 43 ! Thanks for the complement.

Milled out a couple of AR type rifle receivers... Both for 9mm AR rifles...

Before..

After..

This one too... Fully assembled.

I'll be doing the same this weekend. I'm building a couple 80% lowers, one for a 14.5" lightweight (pinned muzzle device) and another %80 AR-308 for a medium range target rifle.

Moved my wall cabinets down about 10" and over to the left side of the wall.

Before.

After.

Also installed some riv-nuts into the Home Depot LED lights. I'll be mounting these to the underside of the wall cabinets.

Got the TV plugged in and Chromecast connected to the WiFi.
