I would guess that he can sell it, even at a loss, and get an equivalent box and pocket some money. So why sell the SO for a Lista? They seem about the same size.

Size is close, but drawer layout is not. SO has shallow drawers, my SO racks didn't work in the SO, however they are perfect in the Lista. So why sell the SO for a Lista? They seem about the same size.

Any reason Lista doesn't put a sticker or emblem on the boxes? everybody at work loves the box, but can't remember the name@rowerwet Thank you for the Lista shoutout!
@justanengineer thank you for sharing the picture! Keep em coming!
I've been saving the best of the best stickers for this box for a while, I would love to have a Lista sticker to add.
for double the price, you pay your money, and make your choices... the extra drawers in the SO did nothing for me. I had to lay everything out flat, that I can store on edge in the Lista, (using the SO storage racks) right now I have a drawer and a half that I'm not really using, due to better drawer set up.
The biggest advantage is being able to pick from a bunch of configurations, SO sells the box one way, if it doesn't fit your needs, buy a bigger box or add a side box. $$$$$
So are there a lot of ppl that finance SO boxes? If so that's maybe the reason why they go with SO brand a lot .Snap-On is good product with financing that is easily attainable, especially for guys who probably couldn't walk into a bank and get a note of their signature or pay out in cash. Guys with no money pay more for less. SO was the first loan I ever had. Lista is top quality. If I was still twisting a wrench for a living I would consider them or MAC, but I'd probably look for a broke wrench who needed money more than drawers. My box (Extreme) is one of the few Asian tools I intentionally bought because it only gets used once a year and it is decent quality bang for the buck. The drawers are brimming with Wright and Snap-On. Congrats on the buy. It will probably outlive you and your heir.

There you go.... companies, you said. Company owning and maintain a tool or equipment is much different than a single-person owner. You can not compare that with a single-person owner. Do you ever wonder why companies sell equipment or tool boxes for a fraction of their cost and you think that you got an extremely good deal? It's the standard business model where assets are liquidated based on a depeciation term. For them to have someone repair a tool box would cost as much as the liquidation value over and over again does NOT make sense; again, it's all business. That's just one reason out there, not necessarily fit your companies' cases.Ive worked in companies that had them (notice the Had) once they couldnt replace simple things in them because of the age of the box they replaced them,

Warm, you really do love the SO kool-aid. We can't get the same driver and prices you can. If we all had your connections, I'm sure we'd drink from the same cup.
