Sears Military Discount

It's about time, but I have no idea if this is permanent or not. Walked into Sears earlier and they had signs up announcing a discount on tools and lawn and garden items: 20% off regular prices and 5% off sale prices. I couldn't find much that I really needed, so I picked up a 28 oz Estwing. Regular price was $31.99, so it ended up being $25.59 before tax. I'm considering the Dewalt lightweight 7 1/4" circular saw since the discount will bring it to under $100.

The cashier barely looked at my common access card, so those with retiree or dependent IDs, or VA cards may be able to take advantage of this discount. Craftsman may be mostly outsourced now, but there are a ton of other good brands to choose from.

They'll give the discount to active, former and retired miltary, plus DOD. They give it to me when I go even when I tell them I'm government, not military.

Saw that thread, and commented on it last week, then promptly forgot about it. A site search only pulled up threads from 4+ years ago. The 20% is new to me, and a nice savings.
