It's about time, but I have no idea if this is permanent or not. Walked into Sears earlier and they had signs up announcing a discount on tools and lawn and garden items: 20% off regular prices and 5% off sale prices. I couldn't find much that I really needed, so I picked up a 28 oz Estwing. Regular price was $31.99, so it ended up being $25.59 before tax. I'm considering the Dewalt lightweight 7 1/4" circular saw since the discount will bring it to under $100.
The cashier barely looked at my common access card, so those with retiree or dependent IDs, or VA cards may be able to take advantage of this discount. Craftsman may be mostly outsourced now, but there are a ton of other good brands to choose from.
