I "Think" there might be different levels of , I don't know how to say it, levels of
Rich Text or something like that.
A setting in your control panel.
Let me see if I can see what mine is.
Try this, I am not 100% sure it will do it, But I think It will
under edit options , at the bottom, see the attached screen shot.

needless to say, that lathe is a sweet deal.
That is a good little starter lathe too, or like for pens and small bowls and box's, all you would ever need.

Good deal, sweet, It worked, I am a PC guru............LOL
Glad that was it, that makes it easy don't it, you don't have to save hem to your PC, and upload them, and/or host them.
Your method is quick and easy. The downside is the photo will disappear once the Craigslist ad is deleted.

are you sure?I dont think it will I thought we were actually just copying the picture, not copying the Link Location.
I think they will stay.
I could be wrong, I will have to keep an eye on these and see if they stay or disappear.

Edit. macgee, did you copy and paste the picture for the craftsman lathe?
The picture is still there, (here in the post) but the Ad has been deleted by author.

On Craigslist the direct link to the photo will still exist even after the ad has been deleted. It does last a while, the question is for how long? For sure at least 2 weeks +, maybe a month.

Most of us here are posting very good deals, they sell within usually a day or two or less but I still see the photo posted here on GJ.

EDIT: Looks like the craigslist keeps the photo's on there server/system for about 3-4 months before they delete them. On pg 110 (2/23/15) there's still photo's on the server but not on Pg 109.

well, that is pretty good, for the purpose of this thread.

Not so good for archive, if a guy is wanting to re-search prices,
but again, OK for the purpose of this thread.

OK Rob, l stand corrected. Not such a windows expert after all l guess............................LOL

Yea, it's crazy. But you can not buy that mailbox today for $5 or for any amount of money as that style is no longer made.

We all should be able to appreciate the concept of restoring a vintage item. We all won't want one or want to by it for $200 but; we can appreciate it.

Has to be worth at least $500. LOL He must be looking for a quick sale at $200.

Actually, don't laugh; plenty of fans of GJ are paying $350+ for a newly painted Wilton vise.

People here in LA LA Land would pay good money to have that mail box in front of their restored $6+ figured Mid-century Modern/Atomic age house which is generally not the type of aesthetic generally appreciated here on GJ.

Spotted this cman block grinder on my local craigslist, too far away and I already got a grinder but it looks pretty nice http://nh.craigslist.org/tls/5050492525.html

Nice find, that is a smoking deal!

It's the older cast iron block case which is hard to find in the 1/2hp, also comes with water tray (again hard to find) and eye shields (newer).

I would be all over this if it wasn't 3,062 miles (44hrs one way) away, but I'm thinking about it.

We are off track a little guys. This thread is intended for great things you aren't buying and want to pass on. The great scores like the last 2 would be best placed on the garage sales thread.

That being said these are both awesome scores. Is someone building a tardis?
