I'm sure they're just fine. Just wanted to know if anyone here has put their hands on them first hand.

PM me a size you might use and I'll send you one to see how you like it.

3/4", 7/8”, 1-1/8”, 1-7/16” and 1-13/16”

And here's your 1st hand:bounce:

Hey gipraw,
Our Sugg. List is about $250.

A few distributors have purchased it already so it should be appearing online any day now.

The speed settings are on a wheel and is adjustable.
Please see the Product Info Sheet (http://www.astrotools.com/pdf_info/3058.pdf)

Thanks . I see the wheel, but everything I see says it has six settings. My question is are those the only six speeds, or is it a true variable speed, and those are just OPM listings at each of the 6 detents?

Can I run it @ 4.5 or do I have to choose 4 or 5 .

I am in market for an additional DA, so I want to add this to the list of pieces I am considering.

You are exactly correct, there are 6 detents with those preset speeds. The OPM are essentially infinitely adjustable in between the lowest and highest setting. As a matter of fact, I spent most of my time in between two settings when cutting as it worked best at that setting.

I know we're low or out of one size in parts and I just saw you're in BC, CA. So i'm not sure if we need to ship to the boarder or what.
I can ask customer service.

I like the light, but don't like the idea you need to buy a hook for it. Either the engineers forgot to add that or trying to make more $ selling it separate

It's surprisingly difficult to incorporate a hook into a 1/2" thick light, especially when people have come to accept that you can drive over the thing.
If the design originally featured a hook and was altogether treated a little more fragile because of this it wouldn't be a problem, but for over a year we've been trying to agree on a design with an incorporated hook and it basically requires a different light design altogether.

That said, anyone who wants a hook - send me a pm.

I have been using your pencil grinder for a few years, mostly in knife making and I really like it. Thank you for an excellent product and at a great price.

Hey guys, this is the Astro 9512 Clamping Valve Core Removal Tool for tire valve cores and HVAC/Industrial Schrader valves. There's not a lot of tools on the market that hold onto the core once it's removed so it doesn't shoot across the shop during removal and installs or just making it more handy to locate when you need it - hopefully those looking for a tool like this have an easier time finding it and find it at an affordable price now.

Those Tie-rod wrenches are key.

What's your feeling on the quality of the ball joint adapters? I need more, and OTC is always expensive.

Check out Astro's brand new 78613 One-Person Brake Bleeding Wrench Kit w/ Check Valve, which is ideal for brake bleeding without removing the wheels and/or raising the vehicle. It allows the user to speed bleed brakes from the driver's seat without monitoring the bleeders. The one-way check valve eliminates drip since the tool will not bleed without being pumped and also prevents air or old fluid from entering the brake system. This kit includes 3 different wrench sizes (8mm, 10mm, and 11mm), along with a 4ft hose. The wrenches seal to the bleeder valve, and tighten or loosen the valves without losing the airtight seal. The new 78613 will be available Early August, so make sure to contact us for a distributor near you!
