LOL. I was just curious....

It ain't worth the time selling IMO, and the only possible sale would be CL. I don't like CL - too much scum, and I highly doubt a contractor shops CL for supplies. I doubt it would go on Ebay for any decent $ amount. Shipping costs $$ when you factor all that in..

That's a good question. Some people like to nail them, I prefer to screw them whenever possible.

It ain't worth the time?! LOL. I paid .50 cents a box. I've already sold 30 boxes at between 15-20 dollars a box to local friends and contractors. You just don't know enough people I guess! LOL

They sell on eBay as well.... For 15 a box after shipping.

Ladies and gentleman. My biggest score yet. Found husky 52 inch clear drawer rolling cabinet way up in the rafters for 1 cent. Sku 044-933. Employee initially lied to me saying that sku didn't show when i clearly could see on his handheld that it rang up for 1 cent. He then used his personal cell phone to look it up on HD website and told me it was 499. I then went to customer service desk and did a will call pick up. As the sales clerk went through the whole process and finally got to the price he told me he couldnt sell it because it was 1 cent. Things escalated to the store manager who gave me the same speech about how he wouldn't honor the price and would sell it to me for 499.

I then dialed customer service and explained them the situation. After 10 min on hold the rep got back to and said that the store absolutely must honor the price and they explained to the store manager about the policy. With alot if hesitation they finally honored the price and i walked out with it for 1 cent. I wish they had more than one in stock though.

Interesting and quite ammusing experience at a local HD today. Went in, browsed the PC app as usually, didn't see much but did notice a ridgid 18v impact tool only model R86010B that was listed at a penny. Found the item on a rolling cart with tons of other misc. tools, but it rang up for 139.00...must have been a new item that was recently entered into inventory but the price check app hadn't yet updated. There was a sticker on it with a 7/22 date.

Found another Ridgid 18v tool only grinder up in the rafters (had purchased a couple before for 25.03). Got a guy to pull it down...went to check out and the sucker rang up for a penny (SCORE)...cashier freaked out and said this was bad, can't sell it for a penny and had to call the manager.

I told her (very nicely) the manager had two options; 1) sell it to me for a penny and I'd be on my way or 2) try to make me pay the last clearance price, I'd call corporate, they'd instruct him to sell it for a penny and they'd give him **** for poor inventory controls.

Manager comes up, started questioning me (not being an *** but very loud and trying to be intemidating) about where i found it, how I got it down, etc. He offers it to me a t the last clearance price or I could leave. I offered him the two options i provided the cashier (but nicely). He instructed me to go ahead and call corporate and once I get off the phone with them, he'd come back up front and sell the grinder to me for the last clearance price.

Well...20 minutes later he came back up front and sold the grinder to me for a penny - dueche should've listened. He was ery nice when he came back up front, wanted to keep shaking my hand and was sure that I must 'know someone' at corporate as he's been with HD for 20 years and never knew about corporate's policy to sell an item for a penny. He was like, "hell, it would be nice to know their policy so I don't have to eat crow like I am now"!

Very ammusing experience. Be sure that all you have to do is hang out in the store, call the resolution center and the manager will sell the item for a penny.

This was my experience as well and why I recommended everyone just call HD Customer Care if anything happens. I really felt like they had my back as a customer and they dealt with the local HD employees for me so there was no he said she said going on. Also as in the second example, I'm sure some of these employees genuinely do not know what the corporate policies are in some of these strange cases. I'm glad to see that manager admit his mistake and be gracious about it.

I've had mine listed on a few sites for a couple weeks, no interest yet. I have no idea if 3-1/2" x .131" 28 degree nails are even a common size. :dunno:

Any suggestions?

I sold 5 boxes for $100 so far. Still have like 190 boxes left, and made my money back already.

I literally just sold 3 nail guns to a contractor from Craigslist, and he said he's gonna get back to me about buying nails.

I have a Bostitch 28deg framing nailer (FLP28WW low profile one sold by lowes.). It only uses up to a 3 1/4" nail. So those won't work with it. The F28WW that HD just clearanced is the only common nailer I know of that can shoot those.

Sorry the shot is a little blurry, but I stumbled across this in a South Jersey HD today.

It's the new 2401 driver and the 2462 hex impact for $79 with two 1.5ah batteries a charger and a bag.

I don't mind having extra batteries and my old metal chuck 2401 is dying, so this was much better than getting the bare tool for the same price. I have a fuel impact so this second one might collect some dust.

They had those here marked 129.00 down from 169.00 for a while, the computer said they were 79.00 but the store tag said 129.00

Had two in stock each time I walked by.

checked out a HD near me today and there was a nice sign at one of the computers in the lighting area inviting customers to use it. Plopped down for a few min to check out what all the hub bub was about. Didn't find anything but nice to know if I check in the future i won't have an employee asking me WTF I am doing at the computer.

So what do you search for on the computer

Anything, key words can be "drill, dewalt, impact, nail, Milwaukee, tool box," everything you need to know is in this thread or in the how to find penny deals one.

Hey can you please take a picture of the sign so we can show it to employees at my store, that way I can tell them the other store lets me uses the computer

You would probably have more luck with the 12D (3 1/4") as opposed to the 16D (3 1/2").

We used to sell way more 12D than 16D at the hardware store where I worked.

3" x .120"? Lol

Where are you located in NH? Berwick Maine area here. Been lurking on here for probably close to a year and finally joined. Don't really need anything, but I like looking for deals, so I am looking forward to getting started.

Rochester, not far. And if you are interested, Biddeford had 3 or 4 of the Bostitch manual flooring nailers at $55 each a few days ago that I didn't grab.

I think there were 2 in the rafter over the nailers, and 2 to the side of the pro desk

What number do you call?

Just dial a regular home depot customer service number ( the first one that comes up in google search) and navigate to the agent and politely explain the situation and what youre trying to achieve.
