Does armstrong make their own pliers? Just bought a pair of linesman's on eBay for 14 bucks.
To be more specific, I'm pretty sure they use Western Forge for the fixed-joint pliers (dikes, lineman's, long nose, etc.), Wilde for their slip-joint pliers (including the tongue-and-groove pliers), and Grip-on (Spain) for their locking pliers.
Same here; I have a pair of Armstrong small diagonal cutters that came from WF.

How can you tell ? Are they somehow marked?
Does western forge make good tools? I know they make pliers and such for SK, craftsman, etc. So if you buy an SK diagonals for 40 bucks is it the exact same thing as the $20 craftsman? Or does western forge make the tools to different manufacturer specs? It seems theres a lot of the exact same tool out there, just different color handles at different costs.
