+1
Now we need a thread that gets updated pics as that thing gets stocked!![]()
I've been stocking up since I bought it 3+ months ago. The plan is to stock it with Proto LA marked tools. I put everything I have on there today, and it's pitiful. Maybe 1/20th stocked. So, it's gonna be a while before she's full.

I disagree. The package survived in spite of the way the FedEx guy handled it. The video clearly shows the carrier abusing the package and not using proper procedures. His employer needs to know that he is careless about the way he is treating the customer's packages. Ideally, he would be required to go through re-training. But if the report results in his being fired, well then he only has himself to blame. If he isn't interested in trying to do a good job, then he needs to move on to a different profession.
You don't need to like the job you're doing, but you do need to at least make the effort to do it well and respect your customers.
Absolutely not. Just because someone threw me out of a plane and I got lucky and landed with no injuries doesn't mean the dude shouldn't be charged for doing it! As far as I'm concerned, I reported an incident. It's not my job to either punish him nor defend him.I agree, maybe a stern talking to and a possible write up. I don't think the guy should be awarded for what he did. Was it right??? No.. absolutely not. But I would certainly call the store or whoever he was dealing with and explain the package arrived undamaged and that you feel the employee needs to be dealt with in a professional manner.
Not being a **** but I hope you contacted fed ex and told them it arrived safely. Sounds like you stirred a pile of **** over nothing. You made the call to get someone fired you should make the call to possibly save there job. I really don't think calling fed ex right away was the right thing to do. Once received and inspected then make the call.
You should make this right....just saying.![]()
Its not right but if your package couldn't take some rolling you weren't going to get an intact item anyway. Hubs are amazingly busy places and hardly anyone has time to stop and read whats on the packages. No such thing as white glove service from FedEx or UPS.
Also instead of holding a camera might of been nice to run out and offer to help lift that huge box.
Amen. I imagine this was a very heavy large and hard to handle box.
Instead of offering help the op hid up in a bedroom and video taped him trying to catch him.
Also nothing to terrible about how the box was handled. The employee didn't kick it or throw it. They moved a large heavy awkward box in the most efficient way possible.

lol, a hand truck would've solved the driver's problem -- made it easier to move, less potential damage to the item, etc..
The driver was dumb -- plain and simple.
I once helped a friend relocate a piano in his house. He was too cheap to go to HF 4 miles away to get a couple of furniture dollies, so I refused to help him. I didn't want to crush a spine vertrebrae to save him $25. So I was heading out to leave when he reluctantly agreed to go grab a couple dollies. Work smart, not hard.

Doubt a hand truck would have made it easier. That box is too wide
I booked shipping through my FedEx account on their website, with parameters of 90 lbs, 30x30x36. If it shoulda went freight, you'd think the site would tell you that.Yep I replied early.
Still wasn't abuse by the driver. The box unless it was 20-30 lbs should of went freight. The things people send "small package" now is amazing. Granted the shipping companies accept these packages but there's a reason 30 lbs was once the weight limit for all of these shipping companies.
Very cool project there, glad it survived.
FYI, here's 2 more proto displays listed near Pittsburgh
