I'm new here and thought I'd share what I've got and some of the progress I've made. Nothing fancy really, don't have the funds to get to fancy.

This is what it's looking like at this point. Ready to do the floor i think, however I have no clue what i want to use at this point. I love the epoxy look and some of the paints i've seen are good too.

Boy I remember when my garage looked just like that! It still does not look all that much better. BTW: I can relate to that lack of funds issue of yours. It has been that way for me most of my life!

Your progress looks very nice, and WELCOME. I hope you enjoy it here.

Thanks uncle buck. It's been fun and has come along ways. Still got a lot to do but the floor has me guessing as of now. I want it to look awesome but don't think i need something as elaborate as some of the ones I've seen on here. It Would be nice though.

I feel ya on the budget to, I wanted to get my garage done as well as other projects around the house at the same time. I think I spent around a $1000 Cdn total, majority about 600 bucks was on my cabinets, the rest was paint, random pieces of wood, electrical supplies and a few other little things. I am happy with what I got for the price, makes things feel better to when you know you got everything on sale or salvaged it from something else.

Looks like it's coming along. I like the color combo!

What's the story on the bike and err... what is it. It reminds me of a Seca, except for the almost "king and queen" passenger seat...

Thanks A_Pmech Took a long time to paint all those colors LOL

The bike is a 1985 Yamaha 700 Maxim. It's got around 5000 original miles on it. Lost my lic in about 1992 for awhile (stupid things I did back then LOL) and never took the motorcycle test when I got it back so I haven't drove it since. I do turn it over every now and then, and coat the cylinder walls with oil. Needs a new paint job though.

I bet it did. Lots of masking there!

Ahh! A Maxim... Should've known. I kept thinking Seca for some reason.

Motorcycles can make anybody a little crazy. :bounce:

Few updates

Put Pitt-Guard Rapid Coat from PPG down tonight with their clear coat Pitthane Ultra. Was quite a job.

Now to let it dry for a few days and I can start moving stuff back in.
