No markings. They seem to be good quality.
Any idea who the manufacturer was?

They look like Mac branded Channellock 447s. Basically Channellock cutters with red dipped handles and about 20% higher cost.

SO was my first guess too. A number of years ago they went to the damn zaser printing so many went to. I don't care what anybody says, that **** will wear off.

Those look like channellock rebrands to me. Never seen snap-on diagonals that looked like that and had dipped handles. Just my .02

How did you confirm it?

Plenty of research and Snap-on dimension comparison.

BTW they have a different profile head than the channellocks. That was obvious from the get go.

Some of the 388's were ever so lightly stamped near the pivot which i can barely get a glimpse of on them. The newer ones were laser etched. Also, the early models had a different type of coated handle than the more modern version.
It is a very unique plier and easy to identify upon investigating.
