Picked up some new screwdrivers after I broke another of my Kobalts.

These wrenches caught my eye. My truck toolbox is lacking in ratcheting wrenches.

All made in USA.

Yeah sorry bout that, I guess it just pulls it straight from the image host? I don't know how to make them smaller on this end.

I took advantage of Enco's recent sale plus coupon code. Wiha torx drivers and Proto long hex bit sockets.

After reading that hilarious thread regarding the bit orientation on Williams drivers I went ahead and splashed out on a set

I have been needing a set of offset double box metric forever and Dennis Schmidt just happened to have one set in stock

That uncomfortable empty space in the metric drawer is now full. I feel oddly complete. Christened the 14mm already on a particularly awkward wheel cylinder mount on a late 50's Mercedes. I fought with one side for 40 minutes to get it off, Fedex showed up with the 75 deg offset wrenches and the other side was apart in seconds. I LOVE having the correct tool for a job.

If you don't mind me asking, where did you find the wrench set?

My latest, Greenerd No. 2 (2 ton) , picked it up for a song this morning, in doing some research it seems these little buggers are pretty expensive new. Don't mind the bench, it's getting re-done soon enough.

New crimpers and jacket.

You will like those crimpers. They are Thomas &Betts rebrands. Just with the matco soft handle (which I hate but doesn't effect the performance ) . I have the Thomas and Betts set just like that for 13 years and the cutters are starting to get dull but the crimping part is still the best I have. I would be really upset if I ever lost them

VW sends out their decklids without the tag nuts so I needed a nutset tool to put in the nutters.

Now of course when I open a new box Moomoo has to come and investigate.

Keelhauled,

Before uploading your tool pictures to the image hosting website, download and use a program called "Irfanview". Open a picture, go to the "Image" menu, and select "Resize/Resample...". Then, under "Set new size", enter "620" for the "Width". Lastly, go under the "File" menu and select "Save as...".

Besides shrinking the image size, the image's file size will be reduced as well.

Not new, but new to me. The junk one I've been using from HF is trying to give up the ghost. This block was at a local flea market. It wasn't a fantastic bargain, but I don't mind too much given the overall condition. It doesn't need much, maybe a wipe-down with windex. Both wheels are C-man, not sure if they're original.

HD took this deal off the website last week while I was making up my mind about it. It was in my cart, and I got an alert in the HD app letting me know that the item is no longer available for sale. I clicked the item link and it said "Unable to fetch product information" and no amount of searching or hyperlinking could get it to show up on their website again.

I was pretty bummed because I really couldn't justify the cost otherwise. I've been wanting that stand for a while now, but $800 for both is a bit much considering how many other tools I've been buying this month. I really need to upgrade my miter saw ASAP and I noticed the "Checkout" button was still in the cart, so on a whim I tried anyway...

Glad I did!!

The first and only miter saw I have owned up to this point has been a Craftsman Professional 12" dual compound bevel (non-slider) that I have been generally happy with, especially considering the price I paid for it about 10 years ago. I wouldn't say that it's all that accurate as it has proven difficult to produce repetitive cuts consistently, but it's been good enough for framing, building fences around my property, and rebuilding my old shed. I am restoring my 200+ year-old house, and I have recently moved into more serious projects. I quickly discovered that I am not very pleased with its performance on trim and other detailed cuts where I expect precision. I am currently finishing up a 40' x 8' front porch that was torn down to the 100-year-old timbers and rebuilt. I am working on the ceiling and realized that a better saw was in order to get this finished before winter is in full swing.

I could wait until work tomorrow (I work almost right across the street from my local HD) but my wife isn't home yet, so I'm getting in my truck right now to go pick it up.

I also picked these up the other day. You can never have too many sawhorses!

The Dewalt ones are pretty nice, and they were actually a few dollars cheaper at HD than the identical Stanleys that I was eying at Lowe's. I did grab those two sets of Blue Hawk sawhorses at Lowe's while they were on sale. They were $25 a pair, down from $40. Too good to pass up, and I needed a bunch to set up a painting area in the back of the house for my wife to prime our tongue and groove ceiling boards before I install them.

I've gone through a couple of sets of the cheap ones. The plastic shelf thing doesn't co operate after awhile. Next time I'm building the stackable ones out of plywood and 2 by's
