Yes thank you B&W for putting this together for us I'm sure it's a lot of work to keep things straight.

I hope everyone has a blessed Christmas season and spend time with your loved ones. I have lost my Dad a beloved uncle and member of my wife's family I was fond of all in the last 3 months. You just never know when you or a loved one gets called home.
Merry Christmas GJ members

OK, all the PMs are out. If your name was on the list and you did not get a PM from me, please let me know.

For those who were late, I will see if I can work you in.

Cheers!

:)

That will start at 4PM EST on the 28th of November (tomorrow). It usually takes around 4 hours to get all the PM's out (have to wait 1 min between PM's :()
I will close out with a post when I have completed sending all the names out.

Bombs away! Sent my gift out today. I just hope it makes it in time. Always difficult with international shipping.

4. Mark your parcel in some way with Secret Santa so the member doesn't inadvertently open it. It is OK to include your name in a place so when the package is opened on Christmas, the person can know who it was from.

I'm assuming it's ok if your name is on the parcel for the return address section? Got my gift, just checking before I send it out.

Yes. It's up to you .. you can stay secret or let them know who it is from (always my preference)

Wasn't able to participate this year, but looking forward to participating next year! Will there be a thread with pictures of what everyone got this year? Would be interesting to see all the great gifts!

Well... looks like part of my SS has already gone awry... The company website said they would ship so it arrived on Christmas. Just got a notification that it shipped today. So to someone out there Merry December 10th...

Hey All ,

A quick question well quick as in I am not planning on mailing my giftee's gift till Friday. One of the gifts comes on an over sized packaging card and I mean OVER SIZED ie the card is 18"x18" and the items on the card if put together would measure maybe 6" x 8". The other gifts going in the box are smaller sooo... I am thinking trimming the package card down to the other items size and save my self a headache of finding a box to fit and cash to ship what says the other elves here? And no the packaging has value it is just huge for what the items are.

OK, I was hoping my victim this year put something in hints, but dammit, no luck. Saying that, I'm sure he won't mind the jar of asbestos-bearing rocks... The gallon jug of Mercury is a bit too heavy to put in the mail... just don't tell the postman! :D

I'd have a ton of fun with a jug of mercury! But my Girlfriend would take it away... :(

Also I didn't post in the elves thread because I kinda wanted to see what someone would really send with just the posts as a hint and their own judgement. I can buy my own wishlist of tools so saying like I want this item from Amazon and this item from Amazon doesn't really seem that interesting.

That's not the way the elves posts go generally its giving the poor SS some idea of your likes (or dislikles) in general terms, not a specific list. Go read some...

Lassen, Last year someone said "No hints; send em' socks..."

I've been reading it. I check every new post in there. I'm not trying to call anyone out but there are quite a few posts in there that are a list of items or a link to a wishlist that doesn't leave as much to the imagination/creativity. I know I don't have to do that and can post vague hints but I also like I said wanted to see what someone does with just my posts and no added hints. I might end up feeling bad and posting in there anyhow but I've held out so far!

Also I like socks. :) Every year I ask for Socks, Underwear and V-Neck undershirts from my family!
