So last weekend, my little compressor finally gave up the ghost. I checked it over & could only conclude that the motor was hitting the thermal overload. It would only run for about 90 seconds at a time before kicking off.
I bought it second hand in 2005 & the guy had it sitting outside his shop under a little lean-to... that's why it's orange/pink.
I sold it on CL for $50 & I picked another one up that is nearly identical for $140. Also got a 1/2" impact, 50ft of hose, & a 3/8" air ratchet that I need to sell since I have all of that anyway.
I've noticed that when we have a blowing rain, water will get between the panels of my garage door, & it drips on the camaro when I open it. I wanted to put some foam between the panels to keep the water from entering which prompted a full garage door insulation...
I put double foil faced bubble wrap down
Then followed up with some 3/4" foil faced polystyrene
All of the exhaust fans in our house were low quality, loud, & under-sized. I've been buying Panasonic exhaust fans since they've been reasonably priced, & perform well with minimum noise. I had 2 left to do, so this weekend I got the one installed in the 'cat bathroom', then went to install the one in the bonus room bathroom. I didn't get any pictures of the ridiculously cramped space where the intended fan needed to go, but I did get some of the space I had to get through...
I laid some cardboard down & pulled myself through that space. Gonna have to regroup on this one.
