A couple months back I bought a Snap On cordless Li Ion CTR761B 3/8" ratchet off of the truck. I used it daily and it was fantastic...one of the best purchases I've made in a while.
I was working on trans of a Jeep and made the mistake of leaving the ratchet laying on the inside of the front wheel. I dropped the Jeep down off of the lift and started it up. When backing it out of the garage I heard the crunch and immediately remembered where the ratchet was. I looked underneath and there it was on the floor...in about 5 little pieces.
I gave it to the driver and he sent it back to Snappy. I got it returned today to me and it was a new unit. Amazingly, they warrantied it.
I never expected that at all...it was obviously ran over. Snap on has a program where they will fix it at a set cost but instead they sent me a new one. Just wanted to post this up as a kudos to how they handled this.
