Hey everybody
I saw that Toolnut was running a special on these drills over in the HOT DEALS section ---> http://garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=303606
So....I went ahead and made a review about the one that I have here, so people who may be on the fence could check it out and see the drill and it's various features.
This one is Made in Germany, has 4 different speed/power modes, a brushless motor, & an electronic clutch.
Also, the kit comes with the following:
- Drill
- (2) 4.0ah batteries
- charger
- 1/2" keyless chuck
- 1/4" hex bit locking extension chuck
- side handle
- hardshell case
- 3yr Guarantee (with free registration....1yr without)
The big negative would be the fact that FEIN's lineup (18v) is not nearly as expansive as other brands, so although you do have battery compatibility, you do not have dozens of tools to choose between for future expansion on that platform.
