Those are great, got one in my pocket right now. It gets used daily and shows the battle scars to prove it.
I think I lost mine today, second I've owned in about 5 years (first one got a perfect dent that wouldn't let the second battery out). I carry one with me at all times.

Bought one for the home box a couple of months ago, still brand new, and now moving to my pocket.

EDIT:
Found it! The old next to the new...

Got a pair of Heritage USA 8" bent trimming scissors. Had never heard of them before, but the back side of the packaging says Heritage Bolivar, NY and the website is www.kleincutlery.com I'm guessing Klein owns this company. Online they are sold with both Heritage and Klein branding. That aside, very nice and smooth action, cut fantastic, seem very beefy and well made.

Also got this Proto Professional 5441-3/4 hex bit socket from Zoro. 3/4 hex, 1/2 drive, 4" long weighs damn near a pound lol. I have a Wright 1/2 drive SAE hex bit socket set but the largest size they make is 5/8. I have a 3/4 L-key but found myself needing a socket on multiple occasions. Of interest, the bit is both pressed into the socket as well as staked with a roll pin. Never seen both on a hex bit socket before.

Ladders count as tools right??

Testing the drill holder!!

Back when drills were larger and no one thought of how simple a belt clip is, I used to use a hole-saw to cut a large enough hole in the top of the ladder as a holder so the drill would go in past the chuck.

*edit*
Actually, I just thought of my 20+ year old corded Makita drywall screw gun. It has a crappy built in belt clip. They almost got it right.

I bought one of those Cox Reels that were cheap on ebay back in the summer. Just getting to hang it up and wondering if anybody did anything special?

upgrading, I like that driver you have

Finky198, MatteVette89,

What is the purpose of individual sized Ujoints, when you could get just three (1/4, 3/8, 1/2) to cover any scenario?

Are they more compact, less likely to fail, better feel?

MJ-

I specifically bought these for doing bellhousing bolts on my car. A regular u-joint and socket work, but this is more compact and from past experience they have a better "feel". They also seem to flop less than a u-joint and socket.

Well this isn't new and its only mine for repair then its going to my sister in law. 1997 era CCR3000 that has been beat to hell a bit. Rust wise its actually in very good shape. Initial customer declined repair (truthfully its totalled) and the engine is a bit toasted sadly because they last forever. I should of threw it in the dumpster but I have a "thing" for these Suzuki powered Toros and now after nearly a year of wasting space its getting refurbished.

Replacement engine from a CCR2000 with starter bosses and toothed flywheel so i'll probably convert this to electric start for her. Despite a claimed HP bump when Toro went to the 3000 series the blocks are nearly identical and the bore size, piston design, stroke, carburetor, and jetting never changed. Unless they made some magical changes to the ports that's just marketing for you. Regardless these machines had a good 10+ year run in their Sales line. They aren't quite as powerful as the E-Tek 2450 and 3650 that replaced them but they're far quieter and they have far fewer mechanical/quality issues. Note they wore the rubber entirely off both wheels and continued to use it for a little after that. I think it was used at a condo or retirement home for their walkways.

I just worked with a guy today who has one. I was pretty impressed with it. Loud and clear. He said it'll go 2 full days on a 12v battery.

This thing says Made in Canada but I sincerely doubt it. Guessing their rules are lax. Not the first Uview product I've questioned the truthfulness of the Canadian COO on. That said from first hand experience this thing works fantastic and is definitely worth the price of admission.

From 94-2000 I worked for what became (at the time) the largest Toro dealer in the northeastern US. We sold literally thousands of those. That machine is a 1997 model, by the serial number, and appears to have been used severely. I have never seen the rubber worn off the tires on one of those. As long as they got mixed gas, they ran forever. I believe I remember short blocking 2-3 of them back in the day, due to straight gas. That entire line with the power curve, the Powerlite, CCR2000 and CCR3000 were extremely robust machines. Scraper bars, paddles and occasionally a belt were really the only wear items, and as of a year ago when I last bought some, all were still available from Toro. I strongly recommend OEM parts, the aftermarket stuff never seemed to last as long, especially the paddles. My father bought one in 1993. He's still using it.

I love these boots. I have worn through three pairs, and have one left. The toe always wears out on me, from kneeling down to swing lift arms in and out at work. I got 4 pairs brand new when we went through my grandpa in-laws estate. He had a collection of new boots he was given when he worked rigs in the southern states. He brought them back to Canada and just held onto them. I don't know if I can get that same boot here, but I am going to have to start looking soon!

Stanley Sweetheart 750 chisels. I have some nicer chisels but couldn't resist filling in a few sizes when these were on sale.

Grabbed these Craftsman USA 1/2" drive SAE impact sockets off of eBay for 55 bucks with free shipping. I honestly don't think they're ever seen use. Not a mar or scratch on them, they look mint. I was psyched when they showed up today.
