Santa was good to me this year.

Sockets to fill out my sets to the sizes I use. Got tired of borrowing them. Hated the idea of losing one. He has Snap On stuff and replacing that gets expensive.

Forgot to get add these when I took the other picture but the red handled prybars were too good of a deal to pass up. Snap On SPBS704AR new style handle, driver had them about $80 off.

This was perhaps the best one of all. Not that he is a tool. But he made it.

^california is the worst.... some people want more than retail for stuff.

Then I try to sell Knipex and snap-on stuff and some charming bloke had the audacity to say I was pricing a ($50 new) pair of pliers at $10 was wayyyy too much.
Wish I could find knipex locally.

I dunno... Macgee is the king of finding like new Snap-On Taco box with tools for 50$. He's always posting awesome stuff I'd grab in a second if I wasn't 2000 miles away.

Picked up the Dewalt bits for $2ea for the singles and $3ea for the doubles at HD the other day.

We also stopped at Menard's and they were having their 15% off bag sale. I spotted this bit holder set for $4. I already have some 1/4" drive socket adapters but I was eyeing the 6" bit holder in the set. Granted it's china junk but for less than $3.50, using it once or twice it'll be worth it.

I spotted this Stanley tool kit a few months back for $50. Menard's put it on clearance for $30. I was still hesitant about buying it and figured when I made up my mind to grab one, they would be out of stock. Once I got another 15% off of it, I figured what the hell for a small on the go tool set. Use it one time in an emergency, it's paid for itself. SKU 2378044

I have been wanting a nice step ladder for at my place. Sick of balancing on milk crates.
The wife's parents got me a gift card for Home Depot so I finally broke down and bought me a 6 foot fiberglass Werner. Man this thing is nice.

Nice. I have the same one and I am 245 Lb. No wiggle at all. I've destroyed more than 1 stepladder. Good to have a nice one.

Got this set of new Allen USA 3/8 drive deep 12 pt metric sockets for $17 on ebay. 9-19mm

I would have preferred 6 point but at that price I won't complain.

Found this set hiding in the used tools box. I was gonna just buy the 2nd one down, but then saw the rest after digging to the bottom. $100 out the door of the tool truck

When he first came to us (mom and I) and said "hey I just signed up for the Army" I was a little perplexed. I thought college was on the horizon. Tried to get him to a least look at going via ROTC, best of both worlds and all that. But it was his decision and he stuck with it. Was definitely a proud day when he graduated.

Snap On 3/8 drive metric set from a craigslist deal. Was slightly upset, the package was new and unopened in the picture. When I get there the dude says sorry I had to open it and use one socket. I looked them all over and I couldn't tell which he had used. He was asking $300 but I talked him down to $200 since he had opened it. I was happy at that. Then upon closer inspection I notice that the shallow 19mm is a 6 point where all the others are 12 point. My guess is that he either lost or broke the 12 point and replaced it. Not a big deal, but I will swap it out with the correct one just to satisfy my OCD.

Wow, you ****! That was a great deal.

Congrats on the tools. Please tell your son Thank you for his service.

Nice! That's the same set I just got at the pawn shop a couple weeks ago. I love the GREEN

Haha, its a nice set! I like it because the new version with those handles(not the newer round handle), they thinned out the shafts a little bit and they flexed too much for my liking. That and cause I LOVE the green too lol.

I just don't like the red band that defines it as being metric because I have an oddball one or two sockets from kobalt in SAE and they use "red" to define their SAE sockets

I always thought it was pretty standard that metric was blue and SAE was red?

Got the last set of these on clearance at the Moncton NB store. I had picked up the clear handled ones a few weeks ago. They're a nice set so I figured I'd give these a whirl.

One of the best #3 I have ever used! I'd buy another set in a heartbeat especially on clearance, if I can find it at my two local PA.

Now I'm eyeing the 10pc SuperCushion set....:pimpflash:drool:

Got the same one. They also make a nice little box that slides into the top of the ladder that holds a lot of stuff. Saved me from going up and down that ladder more than once
