Due to a Trusty Cook R&D shipment accidentally winding up in Bloomington Illinois rather than Bloomington Indiana, I got a hands on with their newest creation. It's a doozy!

Shame about the availability though...

The availability of the Buddy Blasters is soon to change.

How about just a small indicator on each hammer that is temperature sensitive. Like a small dot on the handle. White when warm, red when too cold. That way it could be on every hammer no matter the color. Rather than a whole hammer that changes color when cold.

I share ideas with the team that develops the products. Keep 'em coming.

Is the video creator for hire to do creative work?
What do you have in mind?

Need to Photoshop white...it's wrong to leave it out.

There's lots of hammers on the table that aren't represented by teletubbies. We need a clear one and a glitter one and a temperature change one and a mood change one. Maybe a glow in the dark teletubby too. I guess Strouty's newest hammer could be represented by that baby sun since it shoots out beams of light.

Firworks, I had not looked at the video yet, that is hilarious. :rocker:

Just don't forget your sunscreen and some eye protection when you use that thing.

What a great video!

Thanks!

I had another thought... Easter is coming up. What about a kit with some white hammers and a few dye pellets. Just add Vinegar. Minutes of family fun!

Hide some hammers around your house for the kids to find.

Does vinegar hurt hot cast polyeurethane??

Technically, I guess you could say that, besides the Buddy Blasters, we have "white hammers" in our line up. We had a small private label run this past summer, and the chosen color of the customer was white. We experimented with a couple colors other than the red on the Buddy Blasters before printing the customer's brand on the hammers. I like the looks of the blue on white.

One of the guys in the plant brought these hammers to my attention and asked if we were going to sell them.

Nice color combo on the blue.... now highlight the Made in USA with red.. and you have a winner....

Black looks ok.. but blue is more interesting...

Hammer tease.

Certainly not a hammer tease. This is a colors thread. We had white in the line up from the Buddy Blasters when we were approached by this customer. They settled on white for their hammers. One of the private label customers on the page below ordered the hammers. Not all of our private label customers are resellers of hammers, per se.

I have samples of reds, greens, blues, Buddy Blasters, translucent Buddy Blasters, and our spindle liners in my office. Full hush tubes, however, wouldn't fit too well in here. I'm thinking I need some whites with blue and black print to give my palette some balance.

Here's a hammer for the guy or gal who can't make up his/her mind on the color. I believe that somebody did suggest swirls? Should we keep working at it?

Ok, that's pretty cool. My only suggestion would be to choose colors that when mixed (which you'll see at the interface between the colors) still stay bright.

Red + green gets you into alien skin grey territory where they meet.

Anything + white I think would work quite well with a lot of contrast.

Red + yellow might be nice, or perhaps blue + green? Though these would have less contrast.

Do you pour it in from the bottom end of the hammer? I was thinking pour one color..such as red for the head, then white in the middle then finish the end with blue. Lol

We do pour from the bottom end of the hammer. We can only run one color per line, so making multi-colored hammers requires some effort, pouring from a line and from a container off the other line. This is more of the "hammer tease" cited earlier in this thread.
