things on my list are hose clamp pliers, the new toptul wrenches that closely resemble the facom 440's, a facing mill bit, some knipex cobras, and a ~30 gallon oiled air compressor.

I just bought 2 sets of new wrenches (metric and inch) from GJ member Hiball. I got a very good deal on them. They have the Armstrong Quick Wrench design which is their version of a ratcheting open end:

http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=40971

I also bought a bunch of Pratt-Read 1/4" hex bits and screwdrivers from fellow GJ member mrb. He offered the 35% off retail deal.

1/2" to 3/8" impact locking extension. I am not sure if I am buying one, or the set.

Now ones that I have picked up (for myself or some friends) are, pilot bearing puller, a pair of Channellock locking pliers (Grip-on's, for $20), SAE open end wrenches, back taps, and one that I haven't picked up (but I am looking for me and at least one other person), some ammo boxes (truck toolkits).

Currently looking for a bench-top sized band-saw. Don't need or have the room for a full sized model. Been searching Craigslist without much luck.

the Craftsman 48 piece rethreader set

Oh yeah, I'm in the market for one of those too. But, I'm waiting for a significant sale, coupon, discount or something like that.

I'm actually considering any of the brands that are the same thing with a different brand packaging.

Is that for taking with you to air up tires for race support?

Blowing mud and **** out of shifters and derailleurs you usually have 10min tops to turn a bike over in one lap. If it is a muddy race pro will swap bikes out each lap, you have to be fast

PS tires in cross are low pressure <shakes head> the CM hand held infaltor is very popular. 40-80psi max. Personally I ride at 80-100psi and have zero problems and better rolling resistance.

I recently purchased a lot of 12 point as most of what I had was six point sockets.

Just bought the 8 pc Williams screwdriver set.........the ones that are identical to the old hard-handle Snap On ones.

Beautiful screwdrivers.....I'm totally into Williams now.

Just ordered a Stanley straight edge.

I need a corner/right angle clamp, but can't seem to find one that's well reviewed. =( Might just have to make my own.

I don't turn wrenches for a living anymore so it's not very often that I "have" to buy a tool now. Now I'm mostly buying old, rusty, and cool, what ever catches my eye.

Ratchets, ratchets, and more ratchets....

Well at least old ratchets that are "unique" to what I don't yet have in the "collection" (most would call it an "obsession"). Don't want or count exactly identical ratchets in the same brand, style, and drive size, but do overlap some between drive sizes, along with some minor changes like selector switch style (Craftsman's a biggie there) and such. Have @ 75 or so to go before I reach my goal of 1 for each day of the year....

Also been known to buy more tools for special projects/hobbies like woodworking, as well as occasional other old tools like hand planes, crosscut saws, and the like. Still wanting to add some misc specialty sockets (u-joints), more extensions (wobble, locking) and wrenches to the rollcab when the opportunity comes along. Some from TopTul hopefully.

Lastest purchases in the last two months were a SO CJ2001P bolt grip puller set and Sunex master brake caliper tool set. The later came in handy for the two Volvo brake jobs I've done for some friends this past month.

Just got the Flank Drive Plus wrenches from 7mm to 23mm minus 20mm and 22mm, plus the regular Flank 6mm. Although I have to wait til wednesday to get the 15mm as my boss bought it out of the set right before I bought the set. Buggin me as that is one of the ones I use most. I'm a bike mechanic-axle nuts.

Also recently purchased the SL80 and FL80 ratchets which I absolutely love. And, some sort of Snap-On ball joint puller that works quite well for pulling off extremely tight 48 spline cranks and Campagnolo BB bearings.

This is a sweet *** website you guys got here. Lots of great stuff even though I fix bikes and not cars.
