Nutt's, what do you have that 90 degree piece of stove pipe in there for?
It's a barometric damper. I didn't have one with the old stove but per the DAKA directions, it's recommended. This is the one I bought.

I'l have to remember that if I ever do another wood stove...

What'd you do? Hook it up to the inlet of a turbo? That'd make for a good video...I just... fixed the Dremel Rotary Vacuum Tool...
I took it apart to investigate and I think I fixed it. It will cut right through drywall now... It's like 10x faster than it was. I think I might have to stay up late tonight and shoot some more video!

Looks like an old car straight axle to me. And a frame rail for the tongue?

buffed out the scuff marks where the wife backed her car into dads well she's last weekend.
Got the scuffs out but she hit it pretty good leaving some scratches, looks good from a few feet away.

It helped clean up and organize my garage a little more. with steel and paint $70 invested.
and maybe $15 in beer and a $10 cigar.

I started with this free 36"x24" flat file cabinet that was used for plans/blue prints

I painted it, and mounted it under one of my garage benches.

Then I picked up 60' of 2" flat bar and started making compartments to store small items and other hardware.

Started to clear an area for the new, to me, 12x37 gap bed lathe. It's a Central Machinery brand, but was just recently taken out of the create. I figure for $1000 it seemed like a good deal. Most lathes that size, in my neck of the woods, are older Craftsman/Atlas lathe going for $2000 or more.
Comes with 3 and 4 jaw chucks, side and full steady rests, drive plate, extra jaws and centers and a factory tool kit. Motor is a dual voltage 120/240. Ran it for awhile and everything works ... so, I got a lathe to play with now.![]()
