Installed corner bead and taped and mudded drywall.
Put a friend's 1/2 ton chevy on the lift looking for an oil leak. Looked like it might just be seepage. We cleaned it up and we'll look at it in a couple weeks.

finished 2 projects, standstill on another... trying to figure out what's next.

finished refurb on old Beaver 3800 jointer & Wagner 1/2hp motor, on a Beaver RAS bench repurposed for this project. added dust collection port on underside.
Jointer, motor and dust collection work great.

Also put this Record back together after blasting & painting. Looks much better now.

At a standstill on this little Atlas 5000 wood shaper, need to get new bearings for it. So it will stay like this for a bit.

I installed half of my new 4 bulb fluorescents , wow I never knew how dark it really was in the garage. I had half the total lighting I needed.
I am removing 9 - 2 bulb fixtures and installing 9 - 4 bulb units. All T-8 's

Went to install a bracket to reduce rattle in my draw bar, then discovered the welded web interfered so I grabbed another draw bar to swap balls from 1-7/8 to 2 inches. Discovered the hold was too small for the diameter of the thread. Sigh. How did I end up with 4 1-7/8 balls and 2 2 inch balls in my parts bin. Argh... Put it all back together, guess I'll live with the rattle again tomorrow until I can get the right combination of ball and draw bar.

that's a nice little lathe.
Yea ... going to be a nice one when I finish it up. Need to get some oil into it, then replace some seals. Leaks somewhere ... still need to find it though.

Found a new old stock Enco Lathe stand on CL. Need to open up two holes and drill four to get it to fit. Then I need to do the shim thing to get it level.

Cleaned off the work bench and hung some new LED shop lights over the bench. Man are those things bright - put the T-8's to shame. On sale at BJ's.

Replaced upper control arms on an 08 charger! Damn they don't leave a lot of room to work on these things anymore!

I just realized I need a proper telecommunations box for my Cat5e, cable and security/heat/gas detector wiring.
Don't know what I was thinking before but I just ordered a proper box.
My sub panel is flush mounted and all these other wires need to go somewhere else before being routed in the garage.

Finished up a 125cc Lifan motor swap into my 1965 Honda ct200. Runs great after getting the carb jetting properly set. This 50 year old beauty is a "bit" quicker now than the old 89cc pushrod motor!!! Pretty easy swap and amazing you can get an entire motor kit for $329.

I started banging out the dents in the 59 Cushman Truckster I just got. This poor thing looks like it's been in a demolition derby. I plan to keep the "patina" but get rid of most of the wrinkles.

Rough electrical will get approved tomorrow, trying to get the finish electrical scheduled, and hoping today to rent the equipment and saw cut the sidewalk for the feed line to the sub-panel.

I broke two spokes taking apart the front wheel, so I am stalled there, but I did order a new set. In the mean time, I did some more powder coating.

I did get the rear on the stand and ready to true, but I lost my spoke wrench, so it will wait until the new spokes come in for the front, and the new tool.

Then I cleaned up the colossal mess in the garage.

I got my swap kit from PCC Motor. They're a big seller on EBay, but their warehouse is local to me so I just drive over to Ontario and pick up stuff will call:

Other parts like wiring harness to adapt 12v to 6v and a foot peg adapter came from the best place for all things Honda Trail bike related, Dr ATV. http://dratv.com/eninkico.html

Did the struts, strut mounts, and ball joints on my wife's turbo voyager. I rented a ball joint press and a strut spring compressor. I had never used either tool before. It took a little time to figure out, but it went OK.

What did you use on those headlights? Turned out nice! The ones on my pick up have gotten pretty nasty, inside and out.

it was a turtle wax kit. meant for dealers. We got it in a test product when trying to figure out what would be best. This one, didn't win. Too many steps and the sealer has something to be desired.

But it does the job and I got a better sealer to hold off on the oxidation.

might just be me, but I noticed they go yellow a lot faster after you clean them up then when they come off the factory floor.

Excuse my ignorance... I can imagine the reason for the larger rear sprocket; however, do you need to swap chains to take advantage of the deeper gearing?

Yes. Back in 1965, these bikes shipped with an extra length of chain and a master link. If you were out trail riding and needed some ultra low gearing, you have to loosen some bolts on the large "overlay" sprocket and slide it over the smaller main sprocket. You then added the extra chain and voila you had some ultra low gearing capable of climbing some steep trails!

Later Honda Trail 90's, post 1966, had a two speed transfer case where you simply flipped a switch to achieve the same result. I have a 1974 with this gear box, and when you switch to "low", it will climb anything where you can get traction.

I left the large overlay sprocket to keep the ct200 looking original. It'll never get used. The torque of the Lifan 125cc "square" motor is plenty for any riding this vintage bike will see.

Thanks for the info. I have 1965 S65 and have been curious about upping the HP into double digits but still making it possible to return to OE.

How many miles? Do you regularly drive short trips?

Not 100% sure I need to check but I think around 1000 miles. It's a mix of long and short drives.

Do it! You'll love the reliability of the Lifan CDI motor. Needs no battery and fires up on half a kick. I will say that the 0-50 speed of this 50 year old bike is a bit scary now with all the extra HP......:scared:

Almost broke an arm last night, tripping over a dog, while putting my weight bench back. Tried to land in a push-up position, but right hand grabbed bar, which rotated like it does. Hairline, with a possible torn muscle or tendon. Hurts like crazy ...
