Those MKE jacks are sweet, but price jump last summer to $695 for the 2 ton is making it difficult for me to justify the investment... even though they are local and 100% US made.

^^ Where did you get it? The website has no information on it at all.

Has to be the worst website I've ever seen. I guess they don't like selling tool creepers lol

edit: apparently they are a brand new start up and getting prepared to sell them online. I'll definitely be in for one!

Been upgrading my tool collection in anticipation of a new garage (home build), here's all of my recent arrivals over the last couple months.
Gearwrench 32-piece ratcheting wrench set. Ordered online from Sears, then had to go into the store and have them order it because they didn't actually have the set, despite getting an arrival notification.

SK 47-piece 3/8 tool set, Knipex Cobra 7/10/12 set, and Wera 6-piece screwdriver set.

Also got this lasertip set. Should be good for working on electronics.

SK 45172 3/8 Thumb-wheel ratchet. Bought one on eBay, then another came with the set above.

Saw a sale, so I decided to add on to my GearWrench set with this 21mm-25mm set from Northern Tool.

Nice haul Jumpman!

I got a Streamlight rechargeable penlight from Amazon, Snap-on AWSGM800 t-handle hex set from the truck, and some old Crescent locking pliers inherited from my grandfather.

I am glad there are still some made in Canada tools available.

I bought a TigerTool last year or the year before to do a bunch of U-joints. Flawless. Nice people too, answered all my questions promptly. Made in Canada.

Seriously looking at one of these. Especially with the $200 rebate. How do you like it? Does it come with the leads to stick weld out of the box? How do you like the display, kinda seems a bit gimicky....

just noticed the question

so far it's been neglected as work is getting in the way.

answers
yes, comes with arc leads, can also buy package that includes a spool gun, or tig gun. rebates should increase with each upgraded package.

display, will be something to get used it, but with everything today you learn to use it quickly... Like a smart phone with updates OS

I''ve only used w/gas it on 110v, running dedicated 50amp tomorrow and it worked just fine. looking forward to some proper 220v and seeing what it can do

Yea wonder where the idea came from...

Great idea.

yeah I agree that tool creeper is a great idea. I'm going to look for one as soon as I finish this post hahaha.

Baking pan and 4 castor wheels will get you pretty close.

That might be the way to go i think. Not finding much around my area.

Gerber EAB Lite Pocket Knife [31-000345]

The fit and finish are very nice for an $8 knife that's made in China.

I like that the blade is held with a screw so there's no blade wiggle.

Got the 18v 1/2 big brother to join the 14.4v family. Trifecta deal you get smaller metric and standard impact socket sets but traded those in for impact sockets and 3/8 12 point shallow for Asian head bolts. I can take my 12 and 14mm craftsmans back home [emoji23]283941b2e4e7fe8f6dab842222d90dc7.jpg4e0b602400920f213a650ab3abb60c5c.jpg
Trifecta punch deal as well and used them not 10 mins later replacing the handle and latches on a e250 econoline.

Power steering pulley puller set too, and he threw in the vintage clock. I'll post those later

While my wife was going to a wedding shower yesterday, I went to the Restore (zinch / skunked), Bloomington (IN) Hardware, and Kleindorfers Hardware.. The picture below is what I came home with from the hardware stores.

As a side note, Kleindorfers is a hidden treasure.. many cool tools and lots of NOS..

Went back for more yesterday... rainy day so need a pick me up..

^ killer price on those pliers. they are definitely old stock, as Proamerica has gone to a rivet-type fastener (as opposed to the nut-and-bolt fastener on yours above.)
they must be cleaning out some old stock. have to check it out.

Ordered the pliers set and the standard and metric wrench sets. Just now went back and ordered another pliers set (apparently the last one) and the 3/8 drive socket set. Too cheap to pass up.

That is a awesome little cutter. I am ordering one of those RIGHT NOW! :willy_nil

Ya buddy, I want a couple myself. I have three different styles from tekton but only one is worth a damn and it's kind of bulky. That one looks perfect for what I want.

Got this little buddy at auction yesterday:
LGUAjhR.jpg

And a big ol' pile of wrenches!
9lKlPFP.jpg

These things really are giant. The beams not that thick but the length is well... long. The 1-1/4" Superwrench is maybe 2" longer than my 1-1/4" Wrightgrip.
