I have a cornwell branded one which looks the same and I love it! Its a very powerful impact for the size and fits into semi tight spaces.
I did a search and found the 1/2" Cornwell,yes it looks very similar,the breakaway specs are different.

Mini impacts seem to be all the rage right now. I just bought the astro 3/8" mini and can definitely see lots of use for it in the future.

Mac guy brought one of those in yesterday to show us but at $380 I am not about to spend that kind of money with out a little research.
Today I was at kms tools and they have the Cp version of this impact that looks pretty much identical to the Mac. Difference is the cp is only rated at 450 ft lbs with a price tag of $170. Has anybody used either of these guns yet?

Aircat makes 1055-TH which boasts 500 ft lbs and can be bought for around $112 shipped from eBay. I am pretty sure I will be buying one in the near future. I always hear good things about Aircat and have a 3/4" drive 1600-TH impact wrench that is an absolute beast. Might buy one next pay check actually.

I looked at one on friday.The Mac guy had just brought on his truck. It is very light, compact and seems well made. $250 cash for the 1/2"....

Then look at this thing. Its only 3-13/16" long at 450 ft lbs. That's pretty amazing if its legit.

The M7 people were actually the first people to come out with a stubby 1/2 drive impact wrench and stubby impact sockets. I have seen them at trade shows and they seem pretty popular. I think they were park of the King Tony line initially.
I have to say I like the looks of the Mac mini impact in the first post but, I don't know if it's worth $100 more than the compact CP version.

Got my eye on the Astro nano: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B016Q4Y5CM/?tag=atomicindus08-20 It's advertised with 450 ft-lbs of torque, and around $100 for the 3/8 or 1/2" model. Thinking it would probably be awesome for suspension, brakes, clutches, etc. It's almost pay day, I've gotta stay away from this site

You can get them under the Nesco brand as well. I work with a few guys that have em and they love them. I've borrowed them for some jobs and they're great. Seem to hit almost as hard as my fancy Mac titanium 3/8 gun. IIRC they were only about 150 bucks from Napa.

I have the monster brand 1/2 mini impact and works great I use it all the time for trans work and suspension work. Fights in tights areas with no problem. Was worth what I payed over year ago. 169.99

I've got the Aircat 1055-TH, which is the same thing as the Cornwell impact. If I'm not mistaken, that Mac one is the same thing, they may have tweaked it a little to get some extra torque out of it.
I think I paid around $90 total from Jet.com, back in the Fall.

Unless Cornwell has a new version (they may have), this one is about an inch shorter than the Cornwell I held yesterday that someone had traded in to the Mac guy. The Cornwell mini impact specs said it was a "3/8 gun with 1/2 internals" rated at 500ft/lbs. It was significantly bigger than the Mac I ended up buying.
EDIT: I just searched the Aircat 1055-th and it is a lot different that the Cornwell I held today. That Cornwell must have been an old model. For the price, that aircat looks like a good unit. Not sure how it'd do against these bolts, being rated at 500ft/lbs vs the MAC at 630ft/lbs. 9,000rpm out of the Aircat vs 10,000 out of the MAC.

Go figure, another mechanic walked off with my shallow 6 point 36mm impact socket. Only one I had at the moment was the chrome proto
The gun is very well balanced and feels great in your hand. So far it feels solid when impacting larger bolts. My old steelman impact (if you can even call it one) will bounce your arm off. I have a 3/8" ingersoll 2115TIMAX and it is significantly louder than this Mac. I let a coworker use it for a few minutes and the first thing he mentioned was how quiet it is compared to his IR titanium 1/2" gun and that is spins bolts of much faster. I think he may trade his IR in on one

The aircat has 617 working tq according to realtoolreview.com. More then the advertised 500. I'd say it's definitely a competitor with the Mac Proto Matco guns.
