12 point sockets smaller than 9/16 or so are too easy to break, so at some point they stop putting them in the kit, or at least many brands do.
I like the hand box LesserSon. Any idea of origional color? Is there a hand tray?
^ if you want to unload the pastels send 'em my way!
the old Grumbachers were great - good pigments.

Pretty sure "U.S.A." without Made In means after 47 "ish"I figured the "USA" meant it was post -WWII. Thanks, twertsy!
This Stillson wrench cost me $0.25 yesterday. Bonney Allentown PA Made in USA.
The wood handle was "repaired" with a mile of cloth electricians' tape. Under that was a simple straight crack down opposite sides. I superglued it and got the black tape goo off with mineral spirits, which revealed the original finish to be black shellac, missing a bit. So I wiped that off with alcohol and recoated with dissolved 78rpm phonograph records. I will topcoat with clear shellac.
Meanwhile, the steel needs a rust removal.
I'll post "after" pics when I get er done.
Cool wrench Sam. I don't suppose the want ads get much attention so I'm going to post this here. I need the #21 wrench in that exact style to finish my board. Anyone willing to part with one?

Cool, I'm interested in that one.

I scored a handful of nice Bonney wrenches from a few different vendors this weekend. About a buck a piece on these guys.

For some reason, the pic I posted isn't loading. Lemme try this again.

Nice group!
The chrome on the smaller Hex-Fit DOE looks pristine, while the bigger one looks like pit city.
Must have been different locations.

Yeah, different vendors. Gotta save em all!
The chrome on the small Hex-Fit feels like silk... so smooth.
Box logo looks 40's.
What's the number on that double flare wrench? If it's a Loc-Rite, I'm thinking the number could be RF-54B.
