I ditched the nano and found a new AirCat model 1297 xl.

Full size length, but shorter with from anvil to rear of tool. Florida Pnuematic rates it at 950ft lb forward, and nearly 1300 in reverse. I will post up pics when it arrives and do a torture test on it. If they were exaggerating the power claims, I have 30 days to send it back ti Amazon

There's only 3 left, with a 20% discount upon check out.

Is Florida Pneumatic the OEM for Aircat? They are also an OEM for Craftsman.

Snapon came today. He also gave me a option of hat or wallet and picked wallet as I have 20+ s/o hats. Really nice quality replacing my old beat up one I've had for 5+ years. 24600559c2600bba71bb02340a0c2270.jpg

If I were a troll, IF, I would have great fun with the Snap-On man leaving you with an empty wallet. :bounce:

SAM is a recognized French brand of excellent quality.
Specifically, the ratchet I bought has 120 teeth and can work at very small angles (3º) in most narrow sites.
Perfectly resists comparison with other "premium" brands such as Snap-on or Facom.

Not to hijack, however I've had the bifold large wallet for 7 years now and it's still in fantastic shape. Not all of these items are USA made but they are quality. A 100 year warranty on a wallet?! Better than buying a wallet every 5 years...

I am partial to older tools. Just grabbed this for really cheap. I thought it was an 8", but its a 7, will need to get some new wheels and sell off one of my 8" new crappy benchgrinders.

I kinda don't like this thread.....I always see tools I don't have, but might need someday. plus having Amazon prime doesn't help at all. first step to recovery is to admit you have a problem. "I HAVE A BIG PROBLEM"

Was it a 6 week back order online. I have an Eastwood store near me and they had them in stock. I was in there like 2 weeks ago and they had a whole end cap of them.

It was both. I have an Eastwood store near me, as well. The promo was $69 plus free shipping. Cost $74 after tax. Ordered 4/25. It is now $79 and no free shipping.

Those are very handy. I've got the ESD version of the Wiha chip lifter and use it all the time. Not just for lifting chips!

So how do they work? Most connectors I deal with have annoyingly difficult locking tabs and I would think these would get in the way of unlocking them???

Deal with mostly GM? Depends on the make. Quite a few use release locks that have to be squeezed and pulled. As they age and get blasted by dirt the locking mechanism can become a serious pain to depress while also trying to pull apart (without yanking the wires) hence the plier. The stock tips have little serrations for gripping and pulling just that style.

Stole a photo for example

I had never seen those, but I am surprised your camera does not use surface mount components.

Has anyone bought a snap on torque wrench and got these stickers? Wondering what the reason was for these

Yes, that is exactly what I used em for -- the sheet of 3 different scales is just a one-size-fits-all -- pick the right one for your torque wrench and put it on.

But it already has that scale laser etched on the wrench itself
