Hello, all. My first time posting here. Thanks to what I've learned here, I decided to try to get a replacement for a broken 1/2" to 3/8" Easco adapter. From what I gathered here, Easco was swallowed by Danaher, then later merged into Apex. Apex also owns Armstrong, so I started with their website.
Armstrong's site says to contact a local distributor, or call Apex customer service. The local distributor, Fastenall, contacted Apex on my behalf. Later that day, Apex contacted me, and gave me a RMA to send the adapter to them for "evaluation", which I did.
Today, exactly 2 weeks after Apex sent me the RMA, I received a replacement adapter. It's Crescent brand, made in Taiwan. So for the cost of postage, and a bit of my time, I've got a replacement, that is labeled "Guaranteed Forever".
Thanks to all who have posted information about getting warranty replacements from Danaher/Apex.
