My power went out for a few hours so I sat in my truck while it idled and ran my fridge and freezer off a power inverter I had hooked up to the battery. 5 hours without power and both were still in the safe range temperature but I didn't want to go much longer than that so each got an hour of power from the truck. Plus my phone got charged as well!

You're still posting, so my incredible power of deduction tells me that you did not die of CO poisoning.
But all kidding aside, weren't you worried about CO, even with (I would assume) the OH door being open?

Nice 86,I have a 86 also not that clean but maybe some day!!

Had a great day with my dad. He came over and I fixed the bumper of his 86 Merc SL, after that we went to the garage where his vintage tractor is stored. Put a battery in and started it for the first time this year. He couldn't get to it earlier in the year'cause he's had bowel cancer and had surgery, the whole nine yards, but he's ok now and just getting up to pace again. Then we finished assembling my new blast cabinet and tested it out. On top my GF made some tasty gooseberry cake so we sat on the balcony and had coffee together.
Helluva deal at that price. And definitely worth the investment you are going to put into it.It's next to my garage for the moment, but I went and picked this guy up from a co-worker, for free! The power steering went on it about 4 months ago, and it needs a bunch of other odds and ends, but it's extremely clean otherwise. I'm still debating weather or not I'll keep it or flip it, but we'll see.

I set up a makeshift spray area in the shop and spayed the Ramcharger with desert sand bed liner. It came out pretty good in my opinion. View media item 61873

Do I smell a Lone Wolf McQuade replica buildup?
Tommy

Yeah I am actually pretty excited about fixing it up. I always had a soft sport for these things.
