Replaced cabin air filter in wife's FX-37 SUV. Had to remove glovebox door and glovebox to get to it, but not a difficult job once you watch a 3 minute video on youtube.

Was going to rotate the tires, but when I took it on base to use the lift at the auto shop, all six lifts were down for inspection or something like that.

Need to be more productive tomorrow. My beater BMW needs new shocks installed on the back and shock tower reinforcement plates installed in the front.

Brakes... Rear brakes. Also oil change and new spark plugs and a little garage organization. Went from small shelf to big shelf.

Painted the top side of the deck, Waiting for it to dry...

Removed the windshield from the DD Samurai, cleaned the track of sealer and old rubber, (didn't do the PO's paint job much good there... have to figure out what to do about the peeled sections where blue shows under the red... maybe a black "pinstripe" at the rubber...)

Still working on it, but needed a break before setting the new glass and rubber...

OK windshield in! Ice cream time.. (It's hot out there, even on the shade...)

It took me, SWMBO and my daughter To get pressure where pressure was required, but we got it... :rocker:

No more chips, cracks, or sand dusting... :rocker::rocker:

And how come it takes the guys in the "How to vids" (showing SWMBO & daughter what to expect...) 5 min, and we tussled with it for 30 at least... :wtf:

I almost forgot; I also repaired a Coleman Exponent 229 dual fuel lantern; new glass and pump...

I still want to put one of these baby lanterns on a full size lantern tank.

They don't film the first time they do it. Or - they employ clever post production editing. If you had made a video of it you would have done it in 4 minutes wouldn't you :lol_hitti

Front brakes on the Saturn, then gave it a bath. Put it away and looked at the bucket and decided there was enough left to wash the truck. So I did. Put a windshield on the Kawasaki 440 and took it out for a ride.

I bought this house four years ago and I've kept is in a condition where I could at least park two cars in it. However it was still a bit of a mess.

A few weeks ago, I bought my first Porsche. I decided my garage needs an upgrade to be worth of the new vehicle. First up this week was a real cleaning. I sold off a couple of tools that haven' been used since I got the house. That netted me $750 which I can use toward some upgrades.

Next up: I need to clear out a few more tools that are not being used and organize my existing stuff a bit more. Then I need to decide on new flooring. I'll either put down an epoxy floor or RaceDeck.

Swept the floor. Put away tools from last big project. Fixed all the broken stuff that's been piling up. Used up some saving it cause I know I'll need it later stuff. Fiddled with the water softener. Recycled or trashed a whole bunch of **** I've been hanging on to just in case.

:rocker: Outstanding as always!

These turned out pretty cool -- and they're such a perfect match for my own car that they're gonna be hard to ship home. :D

The CocaCola bench back was delivered in Indiana yesterday. My customer humored me with a video of his wife opening it up, the second "Christmas Morning Look" I've gotten to see in nine years, and the second this month! It's almost like being there for the Big Reveal -- too cool!! :D The video is on FaceBook if any of you care to see it; she has a HUGE Coke collection.

Put the butcher block on a new frame I made
Should open up some more room for storage underneath.. Also now on casters so I can wheel it out to work on..

Some pictures of how it went together and some caster plates I made, this is 80/20 extruded aluminum, really easy to build stuff as long as you have the certain tools... Fortunately I had access to this for free, otherwise it's pretty expensive

Over the last couple of days I've been "collecting" the parts to rebuild the stolen trailer. It's nice that the I have an HF 25% code from Leftyz.

I should have the replacement trailer toward the end of the week.

"Collected" stuff.

It will work if your PS isn't "too smart" for it's own good, but use steel wire, not copper, down in the soup.

(Sanded/stripped Coathanger, or rebar tie wire works great)

Yeh I noticed the copper was getting covered in slime so changed it out. the power supply was too smart and wouldn't kick in because it wasn't connected to a real battery.. changed that too now using a 12v phone charger.. now it's "cooking" nicely lots of bubbles .. results later I hope. :)

Not today, but yesterday I helped my 4 year old build his Black Widow kit from Lowes Build and Grow program. He's becoming more involved in the projects and I realized it's time to upgrade his stool situation so he can access the workbench easier. He's currently using a thin plastic step stool that the wife got from Target.

Changed the oil in the DD rig,

Completed the cooler chest deck on the Mini trailer:

It still needs a locking strap (maybe some SS water heater strapping?). This will secure it from both theft and bouncing out of the cradle.

and next up is the mount for the 2 gallon Prop tank.

The deck is big enough for my 70 qt 5 day Coleman or the smaller one.

Pulled the 425 Caddy engine out of the 41 Pontiac. Got the engine sold, now I need to get rid of the car.

Ok, we're going to need more details and pictures...that sounds like an interesting ride...

As for me, I continued stripping undercoating and paint from my Alfa Romeo. Tedious job, but rewarding as I am seeing more and more bare metal.

I would be a lot happier with your electrolysis setup if it wasn't on a steel topped workbench. Safety first.

True.. It was only there to do the set up.. moved to the floor by the extractor a few minutes before switch on. :)

checked it this morning and it is working well.. now to start de rusting some more intricate stuff.. :bounce:

More photos please.
Your many posts about drilling holes, cooler mounts and tire choices have really piqued my interest.
