Looking like I should just pull the trigger on the bosch and be done. Seems like most like it. I did notice the one in the store you could skew left or right if you tried hard enough. But wondering if you have a good blade and as long as it has good power it should stay on track if you don't have to pull/push hard.
I did a lot of reading and searching last night and found a thread of contractors who all had nothing but good to say about the bosch. Those guys have used all the saws and put them to the test and they all liked the bosch. Most likely will pick one up today or tomorrow.

Cool but $$$ !!
It's going for 650 on Amazon with the corded adapter no batteries. Which is about the same as the Bosch glider goes for but you have the added flexibility of going cordless. Not bad if you already bought into the 20v system.
I had a perfectly good Dewalt DW708 that served me well for years. I used their heavy duty miter saw stand (DWX723) along with the Best Fence system from FastCap.
The only thing I didn't like about it was I kept it up against the sidewall of my garage. Whenever I wanted to use it, I would have to pull it out away from the wall - because of the way the slider works. With the Bosch mechanism - the back of the saw can be up against the wall and it works fine.
Two years ago, Lowes had the Bosch Glide on sale and I couldn't resist upgrading - $533 out the door with tax was a pretty good deal. I don't think you could go wrong with either the Bosch or DeWalt - it boils down to personal preference
With that being said - I couldn't help notice this morning that ToolUp is running a deal right now on the DeWalt DWS780 - it's $599 with a free heavy duty stand (DWX723 a $200 value). Also free shipping and I don't think they charge sales tax

^^^ The stand is awesome an should be had for free if you go that route.
When I got mine I bought it on sale at Lowes they also Accepted their 10% off coupon had the free stand and took 10% off all of the accessories I purchased as well...
I think Its kind of hard to beat what most would consider the industry standard of saws
and has been for years now... I definitely think there newer designs out there ie the Bosch / Hitachi / kapex, but the dewalt has proven itself over the years to be tough and reliable competition...

Was in menards today and they have the Bosch on sale for 594. Tomorrow I'll go to HD and see if they'll match that price. Then I get another percentage off for volume pricing and then this week they take another 5% off for proX guys. So should end up around 520 or so plus tax. If they will match it and give my discounts on top of that I will pick it up tomorrow.

It might be worth a shot with the HF coupon. I had a very mean manager at Menards let me use a... 20% off? on some Jorgensen cabinet clamps. She was like spitting she was so mad about ringing me up and really snotty and so I said "What is your corporate policy? Do you accept competitor coupons?" "YES", she vitrioled. "Do you consider Harbor Freight a competitor?" "YES", she spittled. "Then shut up and do it."

They said no hf coupons but my proX lady matched menards price and then beat their price and then she took off for my volume pricing and then another 5% on top of everything. So with tax it came to 530 so I picked it up. Will try it out this weekend and see how it goes. I have a few decent 12" blades already so can just throw one of them on if the Bosch blade isn't that good. Thanks for all the advice.

Fortunately I had a local HD willing to return the 709 with no questions- Only when I was able to have both and the time to look at them could I determine all of those differences. I'm glad I didn't put it to use first, only to be let down by the lack of features.
I take partial blame for not researching further, but the store didn't have one on display, so I took a chance and paid for it.
