OH MY:eyecrazy: That is one heavy looking frame! should be strong enough to hold a bulldozer on top.
What kind of bad weather do you get? High wind? tornado's? I know you get heavy snow.
I bet you are glad to have the roof done, and excited to get the walls up?
The welding and the bolts were a lot of work, I'm proud of you.:thumbup::thumbup:

Hi
Maybe the roof is strong enough for a bulldozer, i am not sure, but it is better not to check.😄 At the moment the roof is about 2.5 tn
It is often wind here, till 20 m/sec. No tornado, thank God. I don't know how some of you can live under such a danger. for the last 3 winters it didn't snow much, no more than 80 cm. But usually it snows till 1.5 m.

Yes you are right. I want to put up walls now. But I don't have time at all. There is a lot of work and too much orders.

Hello to everyone,
So I began to erect walls. Firstly i made timber framing with membrane and sheet-iron plate attached to it. I had made 3 walls and winter came. That was as usual. Winter came suddenly. Now i am thinking what gates i will install. I attached membrane to the 4th wall very quickly and istalled the door.

Wow I had not checked in on your thread in a few months and HOLY you have done a lot and it looks great!!! Amazing work, I am happy for you! Some of the art projects and engine tables are super cool! The more I am reading peoples forum posts the more I learn that often times people learn to be more creative and work harder when they do not have access to un-limited money. I am very impressed!

That picture of a broken vise is painful. Ouch!! Good vises are expensive here, too. After I bent the screw on mine i got a press that uses a bottle jack. I was able to straighten the screw and swore I would never use it as a press again. I assume that is how you broke it.

Great progress on your garage! The load rating on those trusses has to be pretty high, I don't think you will have any trouble hanging a engine block from those

The garage is looking GREAT! What door idea did you come up with for the garage? And have you been able to make any progress with winter?

Hi everyone. I haven't written so long. Sorry for that. I would like to explain) firstly, it is winter. This winter is rather cold and snowy. Secondly, in November my second daughter was born and i haven't had time since that time, you know. And the third thing is my work. In November i got an order to decorate the whole restaurant in my favourite style and also i made some trays for them. So that's the way i spent 3 months of my life. I was totally busy with it. And i am sure you know that in Russia there is a huge period of vacation after the New Year, 10 days. So that was the time when i was providing heat insulation inside my box. And i got some free space for gates welding. I have wanted to write you for a long time, but there was no time actually and no time now. There are a lot of orders for me to do. My clients went crazy) now i take orders for April. And one more news. I hired a man into my little company) so that is all i wanted to tell you. I wish i could move to my new box and work there.

SBogaCH,

We completely understand what it's like to be busy with work and family. I'm glad to hear you're doing well, and congrats on the birth of your second daughter! We'll be here when you have time to make progress and post more. Also great to hear you're getting more work.

Take care!

A year ago the engine of my golf mk4 died. I had saved money and at last my new engine came in May.

The engine is automatic by the way. My golf is ready to go, but i am giving it to my wife.
But what will i drive? I bought vw transporter mk4 for myself. The condition is satisfactory, but i need to make it better anyway. I bought it for my work as things are going well at work

Now i am solving some electricity problems and the main question is what to do with the gates. I haven't decided it yet
And i dont know what to do with windows. I think it is better to fit the upper part of the wall with glass. But still i dont know..
