How would the slide get a crack in it like that?
I spent more time than I should have comparing that to the pictures I posted the other day making sure it wasn't the same one.. Then I checked your location haha.. Nice find! Waiting to see more [emoji106]Local Craig's list find. More to follow.

Wilton 450SJ. Presented with hammer marks, homemade horse shoe retainer, missing **** plug etc. Disasembled and wire wheeled. Filed and sanded high spots, casting boogers etc. Got some NOS jaws and a new horse shoe from Autopts on Ebay (thanks!). Sprayed with Hammerite Hammered Mid Green. Made some nuts from 3/4" hex stock on my drill press and used a Delta lathe wrench for the lock down. Used a Fulton grease cap for a plug. It didn't fit well so I waffled it a little with a Whitney hand punch. Screw got Mobil wheel bearing grease and all other contact points got Permatex Ultra disc brake caliper lube.

Ummm....I think "end cap" is the proper term - http://www.wiltonviseparts.net/wilton-end-caps/....when you start talking about "missing **** plugs" that's a completely different problem....
How much does it **** when you find an 8 inch vise but the seller is terrible at communicating, so you give up? I'm hoping one of the fellow garage journal members buys it.

Zoom, I'm surprised you didn't remember the #23 being a swivel, cause you sold the finest looking #23 I've ever seen.---Sure wished I'd have caught you when you were in the selling mood on that one.---Who was that member that got that one?---Recon he'd sell it?![]()

Got more pictures and saw the fpu logo [emoji4]

Nice 203(R)?
Round knob suggests pre WWII. Are there any patent dates on it?
