Alright, I am about to start the tear-down process on my 1972 Triumph T120R and was looking for some advice on purchasing tools for the job. I have a fairly stocked garage of vintage/new USA only SAE tools but do not own a single British Standare (Whitworth) tool. I will be needing a few sockets to make sure I torque to spec the parts and I would assume some DOE and/or Combination Wrench for the hard to reach things. What brands or source would anyone recommend to make sure I purchase affordable yet quality tools for the job?
It appears there is nothing cheap (price wise) I have found in the selection, I would at least like quality especially if I have to throw out some big money for them.
Thanks in advance.
Here are the pictures as it sits now.
