I decided to leave a lot of the marks that it had accumulated over the years. It had provided years of service and survived years of neglect and it didn't seem right to make it look too scrubbed and polished. Besides, it would have been a lot more work. It's ready for another 90+ years of service. Here's a picture of where I picked it up. It's the remains of the Packard plant in Detroit.(WARNING: Don't go into that alley alone unless you know the guard dog - Chainsaw.)

OK, I'VE GOT A PLAN!!!


I had to wait two more days but I finally got it in my Wilton C3, took an 18" punch and a 5 lb brass sledge hammer and whacked the HELL out of it. 3rd whack and it shot out like a rifle bullet!!!
