I don't know the right term for what I want. I do know I have seen a shop/industrial version of it, but I can't find anything just browsing through catalogs looking for a photo to reference. I have a photo and a link from Amazon for a finger-paint version.

Some things like contact cement have a brush built into the lid. That's fine but it's not as convenient as a funnel built into the jar would be.

Basically I want to store various machine/cutting/tapping oils and use with an acid brush near my DP and other tools and the bench where I'd use them. Things are more likely to get used properly when they're convenient. I want a bottle, doesn't have to be big or anything, with a conical 'funnel' built into it to wipe excess off and let it drip down into the bottle. wiping on the lip of a jar like I am, a lot of it drips down the outside edge. I have one little plastic jar from hobby lobby i cut a hole in the center, it definitely doesn't work as well as the cone insert would.

Please tell me someplace sells them, and cheap or at least the name of what I want. $20/10 isn't that expensive but I doubt I need as many as 10.

AvE. Should have known! That's awesome but I don't have the tools to make that. But it is awesome.

Spillmaster. Now that I have a name I can actually search. Thanks guys. Feel free to keep sending me links if there is a decent deal you know of, since it looks like these are still the best bang for the buck (even though the photo isn't much help).

I have yet to make one. But i want one badly!

That guys gold story reminds me of when I got the bright idea to set up a light commercial anodizing line in the shop.
But I like what he did. I just happen to have some fittings here to do the same thing, welp minus the gold. :D

I haven't used it for cutting and tapping oil, but one of my favorite dispensers for small amounts of stuff is the GluBot. You might not need a brush if you have one.

It's made for wood glue, but I find it's great for various types of semi thick liquids. It is a squeeze bottle that dispenses from the bottom up through a tube attached to the side of the bottle. This avoids having to do the "Heinz Ketchup wait" for stuff to come to the spout - and it also pulls the liquid back into the container when you release the squeeze.

You cut the opening to the size you need for the type of liquid and size of bead you want.

I have used them for car polish, barbecue sauce, and of course, wood glue.

They make a small one 4 oz which might work for tapping oil, and a larger one 16 ounce I think. You can get them on Amazon, but I've seen them at Menards for about 6-7 bucks.

I had to pad an order from fastcap so I got the small & normal size glubot and some of the accessories. They are really great, but I don't think they are right for thinner fluids like these.

A soup can with a heavy steel slug or ring inside the bottom to stabilize it.
Has worked for a hundred years.
