I have purchased my gift for my recipient and received my gift from my SS. Sorry for the delay but I am in the middle of a family crisis(My dad has small cell lung cancer and unfortunately he wont be around much longer. Please forgive my tardiness but have no fear I will get the gift sent out hopefully tomorrow priority mail and since we are both on the west coast there is a good chance it makes it there in time.

Thoughts and prayers for your dad and your family, Evan

Mine arrived today from 53Sparky. It's in a pretty awesome wooden box, so I can only imagine what is inside! Even my wife is itching to open it and find out!

Got my box! Unfortunately I don't have a tree in my room, but it'll be on my desk waiting for me to get off work on christmas day!

I got confirmation that my victim's package was delivered around 12:40 today. Glad it made it there on time. Shipping delays from overseas delayed me getting it shipped, so FedEx got a little more money out of me this year!

Got mine! It cost me $13 to get it because of my own error. They tried to extort another $6 out of me for additional shipping but I showed them the tracking, which showed it arrived at the office and never left, it just got a post-it not stuck to it. The clerk said, "Yeah, that's dumb."

I'm too dang curious, I can't imagine what the heck it is. There's all sorts of clanging inside the box.

I've had mine for a while, but I had a difficult time remembering to bring it home from the office. Must be getting older...

What was I saying? I forget.

Thanks, Al Bundy!!!

Looking forward to opening this on Sunday!

Well... It's 2:00 AM Christmas Eve and we are staying up north for the night (won't be home Christmas morning) so I guess I'll start!

Thank you to my SS T_roze!

It's Canadiana package MK II!

  • Picquic Dash 7
  • Piquic Teeny Turner
  • Canadian Candy
  • Tim Horton's Coffee
  • Alberta License Plate
  • A Nice Letter

I now have three sizes of Picquic so I am set in case I run into any Robertson screws. Also I think the most Canadian thing possible is that the Teeny Turner comes with an R0. A screw I had no idea even existed. I've used Robertson wood screws before but just the thought of special tiny Canadian screws is funny to me (They make you swap out your glasses screws for tiny Robertson ones when you get citizenship). Anyhow the Picquics are perfect to keep in my lab. Maybe they'll make an appearance in a future video some day. I will bring the coffee with to Christmas and let everyone try out the national flavor of Canada. Currently me and the GF are sharing the Aero bar. It's bizarrely... airy... and good chocolate. I'm interested but afraid to crack open the Eat-More bar. I can't picture what a Dark Toffee Peanut Chew will be like. I don't think we have anything like that here. I will find somewhere to display the vintage Alberta license plate. It's in surprisingly good shape. I think the plates on my car from 2010 look worse! Also let me know how the backdrop turns out. We've used ours a bunch now and it's very handy. I think one of the best things about it is, you can just leave the brackets on the wall and stash the curtain rod and roll of fabric somewhere like a closet and then it's like nothing was ever there. You aren't committing a bunch of space to it permanently.

Merry Christmas GJ!

Came from the post office. Still nothing. We have public holidays now until the 28th. I'll check again then. My gift for last year only arrived like in Feb or something this year. Our postal system is an embarrasment.

On the bright side: the first time ever in 5 years of SS that my outgoing gift arrived before the 25th! Happy holidays!

Firworks is on fire with the first posting on the year! Be careful, Timmies coffee is an addiction and you will want to move here!

On Dasher, Dancer, Prancer and Vixen!

(Or, should that be Duro, Dowidat, Penncraft and Vlchek?
teamed up with Cornwell, Crescent, Diamond and Bonney?)

I got my Secret Santa Shipment today. It's not ticking, so I'll take a chance and not toss it into a bucket of water. No indication whether it's wrapped, so I'll leave it as is and open with the family and the rest of the gifts. THANK YOU!!

I also got the present sent off to my victim today. It only has to go halfway across the country so it should get there in plenty of time.

Merry Christmas to all, and many more!

You were the hardest victim ever! Hope you like the mish-mash of stuff I dug up based on your prior posts. Merry Christmas!

Well the hours and minutes are being counted at this point, but still time (for some) to get theirs today! I think most if not all are at the mercy of the shipping companies at this point!

We are down to just six SS's that have not reported having shipped theirs, many of these were "cleared" by the recipients reporting they received their package.

A number of shipments were reported MIA in transit, but all but one were reported found; one is still MIA as AFAIK based on reported!

Monte - your post confused me: Did you mean received in December? or is Germany on a different Calendar? xmas

I know a couple SS's have reported shipments are delayed due to awaiting arrival by the SS to re-sip either, wholly or partially; so those will be late.

Five were reported by the SS as delivered, but the recipients have not confirmed -the recipients:

TK-421
Derek420
chrismenke
egnorant
Benw455

And 25 are still awaiting their SS gift; I've included the six victims where their SS has not yet reported it was shipped:

My SS PMed me the tracking number since it was coming from the East Coast and seemed to have disappeared in the bad weather. I am happy to report that I got an Email from the post office this morning that it is out for delivery!

USPS tracking says a package was put on my victims porch yesterday at 11:37am.

I received 1 of 2 from my SS in today's mail. Picture to follow later this afternoon.

Thanks to SSanta's Helpers for all their hard work!

Tracking shows a SS gift was delivered to my victim yesterday. I had so much fun again this year trying to come up with a great gift and hope they enjoy it. Forgot to include a note so I just sent them a PM to explain what's inside the box and wish them Happy Holidays.

Thanks again for putting this together. I know it takes a metric load of effort, just wanted to say it is appreciated. I'm gonna go shake my box a few more times now.

USPS attempted delivery on the 22nd and left a notice for my recipient. I'm hoping he gets a chance to pick it up.
