Must be another issue with Sears website. I have physically been at my local Sears and saw at least five of the coats in size large but they will not show up on the website. : (

^^^yep my Sears had 3 of the 75T ratchets in 1/4" drive but for weeks the website has insisted they don't exist. Conversely it said they had one 36" pry bar (which should mean they have TWO), but they didn't exist.

mine has the same issue with the 75T 1/2" ratchets. none for pickup locally, but they have four just having there. of course, they are on sale for 18$ online, but are still 30$ in the store, and the store won't honor their own web site pricing.

this is the kind of **** that will put them out of business. why would you not want customers wandering around your store, maybe to find something else to buy?

just one of the many things i dont understand.

This is why Sears is on "Life Support"........ I use my points as soon as I get them because I feel Sears will go out of business any day.

The jacket is decent and definitely worth the $30 or less price. The zipper is stiff and it should break in. Nice and warm too.

why can't you just order it and ship it to the store for pickup, I think that option is still free, if you want that so badly?

I ordered the jacket and used economy shipping for $4. Its estimated arrival is 01/03, but I will gladly pay $4 to save myself a trip to Sears.

Interesting. Did you verify how it rings up at the register? My store has it signed at $17.99. I just picked one up yesterday in fact, although I did order online for pickup.

I've also decided this is going to be my approach from now on since their store inventory is so off and my Sears is a good bit out of my way. And I will only use my Amex as I don't trust them to refund me if I get an empty box or something.

No I don't plan on defrauding anybody but if you've ever spoken w Sears "customer service" (a misnomer if there ever was one) you know it's like talking to a wall. No degree of logic or reason will persuade them and they just repeat the same thing over and over w an Indian accent.

Just an FYI their phone customer service is not too great but the computer chat is great. Open the chat window tell them the problem and it chirps when they respond as you do other stuff. Spent fifty minutes on the hold this morning to get cut off. Opened the chat at lunch and took them ten minutes start to finish.

ship to store is not, for some reason, available. it might be that they are discontinuing it, but were that true, you would expect it to be on sale in the store also, although likely at a different price.

it is like some harvard business school drone is conducting an experiment for their thesis. . . . . . . . .

Chat is the only way to go with Sears. I never call and I hardly go to the store. I bet you could buy the ratchet at the store at full price and then come home do a sears chat and tell them it is cheaper online and have them refund you the difference

I just got an email yesterday for $10 off $40 purchase.... But also my Amex has $10 off $50...

Nothing that I really need at the moment... There's always next year.

Anyone notice the 36" pry bar went from $17.65 to $17.09 yesterday to $17.08 today?

Feels like Amazon bot pricing. It is (or has been - I did not check TODAY) OOS for shipping but my local store shows 1 (which means they likely have 2)

If you can find one (good luck) this 36" pry bar w strike cap has fallen to $16.23 LOL

In stock at two stores near me.

How many 36" pry bars should one own?

Hmmm....

Well, figure you might need two at once yourself, plus you've got two hands so why not. Then you might be working with a buddy and he's got two hands......so four total is completely reasonable. But for a junkie like me I'd say if you get more than 8 you have a problem. Under that, you're perfectly normal :bounce:

edit: not talking TOTAL pry bars, just total 36" pry bars. I certainly have at least 10 pry bars of different lengths and configurations in the shop, then I dunno if you count the big rock bars/slate bars or if those are a different category unto themselves :D

Who knows?
Ign is right on track haha. I own four 36" prybars and am giving away more as Christmas gifts. As far as a total number of prybars owned? Hmmm... I believe I have around 25 in different lengths and configurations.

The 50% in points back over $50 expires on 12/24... I wonder if they will do some new promo starting today... Haven't looked at my emails yet...

Ok I finally scored one of these after previous failed attempts. At Broadmoor Sears in CO Spgs. BTW that store is SCARY. Really a trip back to the '70s in the "hay day" of old school dept stores. I walked this back hallway to online order pick up that was a trip. It was almost like strolling a museum, I was fascinated.

As has been mentioned numerous times here the (new style) pry bars are US (Wilde is it?) so this one instance import haters can relax.

Elaborate?

Right now I have $7 off $40 in "surprise points", or $5 off $50 with a coupon code from the "check for coupons" workflow on Sears.com.

I could add a $12 flat pry bar to my cart for a total of $42, subtract $7, and pay $35. Or I might add the 36-in prybar for $16 and pay $39. Or add the $40 GW 2-piece roto ratchet combo to make $70, and qualify for some other coupon. But I decided last night that I can live without those ratchets. This is how they get you, heh.

I'm not actually seeing a $10 off $50 coupon right now, but $7 off $40 is close, ratio-wise. Sorry if that was misleading.

Professional pry bar set. Down to $29.99 again

I looked at it, came up immediately after I bought stuff I don't need to use my last $20 off $25 surprise points, but I recall it said something like special buy after the price which might limit working with other offers.

Played some stupid SYW games and survey's and came back with $12.53 in points and bought a set of the pro pry bars. I figure last chance on the pro's made by Mayhew. No special issues using my points, but they didn't work with any of the coupons.

I did that one day on my desktop while killing time waiting for a plumber to leave the house. I think I got a whopping .50 in points & I decided they don't let you really win anything. Congrats on $12+ !

It seemed to finally have nothing more and kept asking me the same questions over and over but it's not programmed to EVER tell you to go away so it just keeps throwing losing games at you LOL

Not sure how much I trust their points. I never got the $5 back for buying the tool box liner roll at $9.99. It's not worth pursuing (so I'll just ***** about it)

Where are you seeing $6 back in points on the Double-X pliers? For me it just says "Earn 170 points", which I guess is $0.17?

Still, that's a pretty awesome deal. I paid $32 for the identical Gearwrench branded pliers set last year, and I don't use them often but when I need them they're great to have. Also when I drop something behind my cabinet.

You need to be signed up for the ShopYourWay & Craftsman Club, and be subscribed to their emails. They send daily emails and several times a week send things for bonus points / $ off stuff...
