I ordered a some sockets by searching "Craftsman Professional" and most of them were USA made. They came from the Jersey City store. All these years later, there is still USA made bits in their stock.
Are they possibly new USA made? They did supposedly get some out.

No, they were NOS G and G2 for the USA made, the three others were S-AE, Z-AH, and Z-AJ.
The new sockets from SBD are terrible considering they come from a "modern" & "high-tech" factory; rust and chrome plating issues on many of the sockets. I had a set and promptly returned it. The current sets Sears sells are nice in finish at least. Look for "Z" code sockets.
