I think you will like them I was pleasently surprised after i got mine and got them home for closer inspection. Love the feel of them fit well in your hand and seem to be well built. And I am usually not a kobalt fan till now.

I would agree, after using these drivers for several days I've been very impressed with their performance.

Agreed for the price point mine have been holding up very well. And the grips are something I have not been used too with my old worn out craftsman. Kobalt got themselves a winner on this set. And did i mention I like green lol

please let me know how they are when you get them.
As mentioned, I haven't owned a lot of quality screwdrivers to compare them to, but initial impression is awesome. They feel great to me in the hand. The handle shape really makes it easy to apply torque. The black finish on the shaft and tips is nice. I pulled a damaged #3ph wood screw that's out of a scrap 2X4 just to check them out, and it handled it well. There's a thread specifically on these drivers right here.

All in all I think they're a good buy, the warranty service as reported all over GJ is stellar, they have a presence here, and it looks to me like the company is moving towards carrying more and more US made stuff at a low to mid range price point. A bridge between HF/box store stuff and SK, maybe.

However, the Kobalt screwdrivers under discussion are made in China.

******** it...I went out and bought this set and it doesn't fit my big Milwaukee toolchest 😡😡😡

Going to go return it later

You can trim the foam tray slightly if you need to and it will still look good. One o two of the reviews even said they needed to trim the tray slightly.

Several people who had that issue separated the Torx section from the rest and were then able to fit the slotted\phillips section in the drawer.

You're gonna get a gazillion different opinions...

-Williams, Snap On, Wiha, Wera, Vessel, PB Swiss, Felo, Gedore, SK, Proto, Facom, Kobalt, Harbor Freight, Gearwrench...

You get the idea
Right on, find a set a click the mouse! All above mentioned are good options.

You're right! Very nice screwdriver set. I cut the torx side off and put it in a different drawer just like in the other thread.

The set I just picked up for $30 has the hex lug at the base of the handle where a wrench can be used like my half missing Snap On's I bought 35 years ago.

for 30 dollars i am extremely satisfied i know they are made in china but to have the hassle free replacement offered on these husky or craftsman they have to be made inexpensively hopefully they don't skimp more on materials or we pay for it in the initial price with brands like snap on mac bla bla bla.... they have to consider the cost of replacement when they put a price on them.

Just picked these up because they were a deal. Grips are nice diameter wise but will be slick. Also no way to put a wrench on em for leverage either.

Bit ends are nice and for the price worth it. Lifetime warranty to boot.
