I'm a sucker for lights. I've bought too many over the years, only to end up not using them. One of the exceptions is the Costco Snap-on branded LED corded worklight being discussed in a couple of other threads -- I've bought several of those and they're excellent.
Here's another one. Costco has had this CAT-branded rechargable LED worklight in my local warehouse for a few months, and although I've been tempted, I was able to resist. No more -- got one the other day for about $30. Haven't seen it discussed here and thought some of y'all might be interested.
[UPDATE: It was talked about -- see this earlier thread: http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=338714]
The price isn't anything special -- quite likely to be discounted if they continue to have stock on the shelves in a month or so. But it's fairly priced, if not cheap.
It's really quite decent -- better than I expected.
This seems to be a good 'un.

- Made of diecast metal with plastic protective trim. Build quality seem high -- doesn't feel cheesy or plasticky at all.
- COO China, of course.
- IP64 protected against dust (highest rating) and water (medium rating against splashing).
- State of charge indications with LEDs on back panel and on wall-wart charger.
- USB charging port.
- Multi-level brightness LED with surprisingly good pattern uniformity -- nearly perfectly flat illumination -- no hot or cold spots -- and bright enough for most of my needs around the house and garage.
This seems to be a good 'un.
