Grabbed some ratchet straps and a band clamp last night. Was hoping the straps would be voodoo but no luck. I can work with $1.25 a strap though.

Went through self checkout and both yellow tags triggered a "please wait for associate" message. Backed out and scanned the package bar codes and they came up with the tagged price. Is that typical? Tried to price check with the yellow but no luck with that either. Trying to make sure I didn't miss a penny deal somehow.

Straps

Band Clamp

Always scan the regular UPC on the item. The yellow tag will do nothing.

planter is voodoo...

Going to be a tough one though, the skus at my store were gone because the tags are paper can get weather damaged, so had to ring up with clerk and lost them.

Also, Paslode framing nailer marked to 125.04 in my area.

I went yesterday to get some things, managed to talk a kid to pull down the case of some 5lb 3.5" Deckmate screws... Grabbed a couple boxes because I knew they were a penny.

As I was running around I remembered that I forgot I needed some insulated spade connectors. So I swung back by HD on my way towards home. They only had tiny packs of connectors so I'll have to look online today, but the box was still sitting on the floor in front of the other screws so I grabbed 3 more of them and went to self-checkout armed with a nickel ready to pay.

Within this past week or so I've spent 9 cents on deck screws... Now I have 53 lbs of them in assorted lengths! LOL... Though I do a lot of woodworking projects so these will get put to good use.

Location is "RT Bay"? Did you click on the map, is that returns?

I think our store had ONE of those cargo bars in the clearance section, and I hesitated to get it, by the time I went back to grab it was gone...

I've had one of the MET employees last week check around, and she couldn't even find it. They have 4 racetracks in the store. Front, middle, and sides

It said that on the in store computer? I've never seen that?

Not store computer. You can go to homedepot website and type in the product and choose your store and it will say "This product isn't currently sold in stores" and that tells you that store do not stock this product. Switch to another store to check each store near you.

^ I have found items that say that on the website in stores? I say the only way to know for sure is store computers. But that's just me...

I agreed, always best to check the store computer.

This is what show up on the website: Not at your store means they do not currently stock them. Someone could order them and return the item and the store fail to send back to vendor and employee just put item on clearance shelf.

These ladders at $90 are a great deal. I snagged one last year at $75 but I got 'em to match a HF coupon to do it :D

Which model is it??? The one that's usually $119 is the MT-13... The MT-22 is always $169 around here... If it is the MT-22 that is a freaking STEAL!

I got one of the Gorilla Ladder brands 13' model recently at a garage sale for $40, also included the extra U thingies to make two short A-frame ladders for scaffolding. I'm happy with that, anything longer would be a waste for me.

Our store doesn't seem to carry a lot of inventory of appliances, probably because smaller town... This is about as good as the deal will probably get here before those four are gone...

It's a special model they do for HD each year. It's a lighter duty MT-22, like the MT-22a or something. There's one extra character in the part number. HD reviews are actually very comprehensive on this (I read up when I bought mine but have since forgotten the specifics).

Nano penetrating lube $2.73/can. Apologies if this was already mentioned in the thread. They claim original price was $10 which seems optimistic. I have no experience or knowledge of the product (but I bought a can to try LOL)

I saw that in my store today, they only had 2 cans left. Both were damaged cans though so I didn't bother. That is a good price though if it is even a halfway decent penetrating oil.

My store had one left but the cap and spray nozzle was missing. Seems like my local HD salvaged most of the holiday stuff I did see much left. This time last year I got a lot of good deals. Is anybody else finding good deals on the holiday tool stuff?

LED Lights bulbs are very cheap in south jersey I guess the locks energy company subsidized it. 4 pack of philips 60w for only $1.97 , $8 off retail.

Cargo strap and bungee cords are also getting very cheap. Found a 4 pack of straps for $3.50

Some of the ratchet straps in clearance are odd lengths...they had a 2 pack of 1" but they're 6' long, was about $5 IIRC. And a single pack of a 2"x8' strap. Sure sometimes I get annoyed w 15' or 20' straps if I'm just strapping across my truck bed but 6' and even 8' borders on a bit short. I can always just take scissors and shorten a longer strap if I really want -- but whenever I've done that in the past I regret it 'cause next time I grab that strap I need a longer one.

A few weeks ago I grabbed the 4 pack of camo straps at HD for about $9. These are 1.25" which is nice; that extra 1/4" width tends to kick up the quality of both the strap and the ratcheting mechanism. IIRC they're 20' and nice for what they are.
