Do you mean to say that this was an old sale? I'm wondering about that Pro 14 gun in the first photo - is that a current clearance item? I thought I saw that at a local HD at full price a couple weeks ago.

Anyone else notice the Pro 14 "Great Stuff" dispensing gun on clearance at their store?

I've seen them for 13.02, bought 8 for 6.01 because manager wouldn't let them go through for the .01

By some miracle I received a shipping notice for the Milwaukee 60 inch toolbox and it shows a delivery date of tomorrow. Thanks to the OP. Wishing I had ordered two.

James

Same here. I thought less chance of cancellation if only ordering 1.

Mine is coming from LUCKEY, OH 43443 on Holland shipping, and scheduled for tomorrow. When I called the shipping co., before getting the updated tracking #, they said I would receive a call before delivery to setup a time. I'm use to receiving a call the day before delivery, so I can properly plan the day out. I really don't need it asap, especially when I have to drive an hour to where it is being received.

Home depot doesn't cancel things like that often, even if people figured out hwo to work the system to get a better deal than their region was set to get.

About a year ago, Home depot screwed up one of their discount codes. It was probably supposed to be $10 off a $100 purchase. But the code worked with any amount in your online order. So if you bought a $12 hammer online for in store pickup and put the coupon code in, the cost was $2 plus tax.

The coupon code hit slickdeals and literally tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands of orders were placed. The code was only open for a few hours before someone found the issue or whatever. I placed probably a dozen or two separate orders and basically got anywhere from a 50% to 90% discount on the order. I bought a bunch of 28 piece husky stubby and regular metric and standard wrench sets. Sale price was $13, with the coupon, $3 plus tax. So I was paying 15 cents per wrench. Got a bunch of sidekick leatherman's for $7 after coupon, etc.

No one had their orders cancelled and some stores had hundreds of online orders made like this for store pick up.
Haha. I remember this. It was $10 off $10. Slick deals is were I saw it too. I also ordered a couple of pliers, wrench sets, and like 5 more orders. Would have kept going but thought for sure orders were going to be cancelled and didn't want to waste my time putting orders that were just going to get cancelled. But to my surprise none of my orders got cancelled. I remember going to pick up my orders at the store and saw a bunch of orders from other people that I'm sure were using the same coupon.

Good to know. It actually makes me respect HD a little bit, and while i would have rathered the husky 60" workstation I'll gladly settle for buy one get one free. And I will make sure to jump on these deals again in the future!

Has anyone happened to try the 150/200 off Milwaukee promo in-store today? I know it said ended the 29th or 30th but was curious if it was still working by any chance.

Thanks.

I felt the same as you. There were so many order being placed and it was so big on slickdeals, I thought they would cancel the orders. If only a few hundred orders were placed nationally, a company would just eat it. But this thing was huge and literally ten's of thousands plus orders. I thought when it got that big, they wouldn't want to eat that much money.

So I did a dozen or two orders, then stopped figuring I was wasting time. I regret not loading up on some other things. I remember looking at the tool section of the website and sorting it by price. I looked at everything that started at $10 and went up, so I was getting $12 things for $2, $11 things for a buck, etc.

In retrospect, I wish I loaded up an cleaning supplies, motor oil, drill bit sets, etc. Would have been worth it. I doubt they'll let that deal happen again.,

I've been keeping an eye on the Ryobi 40V blower kit. Presently $119.00 but my store has a TON and they're not moving. I think they'll drop again but at a .00 who knows when? Even at $119 not a horrible deal if you need a battery ($99 alone). But I'd wait.

Haha. Mine came from the same place. Sitting in Romulus right now. I'm just outside of Detroit. Waiting on the call to schedule delivery.

I don't recall giving my phone number. Not sure how they're gonna call me. If I did list one...it's never my actual number (to prevent telemarketers).

You should get a Google voice #. I let all the **** go to that, and any voicemail is sent to me in email. So I just about never have to check it, unless I know to be expecting a call/message

Do you have an HD credit card or have you ordered something online from them for pickup or delivery? They keep it in their system.

If I call a store, they have my name and phone number on the screen when I call. Even the department people with the handheld phone/scanner thingy they have.

Picked up this bucket of screws this afternoon. I don't have a screw gun, but the price is half of what you would pay for a 5lb box (aprx 600 screws).

I called also. Told them the date I wanted it and they gave me a window of between 1-5pm. Somebody must be there to sign for it.

That would be historical if your order got cancelled because of a phone number issue.

I do but I had to check out as a guest in order to get that price. If I used my account, it gave me the full price. It shows it is already in my home town and supposed to be delivered tomorrow...

Same here. I use it for my Craig list junk. Along with a junk email to keep everything separated.

Fiskar trimmers are full price around here

It would be more helpful if you let us know where here is. They are being clearanced here, hopefully just for a new model and not being replaced with an off brand. Fiskar is good stuff and often has a lifetime warranty.

HD does have a tendency to replace the few high quality products they carry, like Fiskars, with some HD how brand garbage or some other low end knock off.

New model is replacing it. I saw it when checking a store for the clearanced ones. I don't forsee taking a picture of that for a couple years :D

The new models have oval handles and the clearance trimmers have round handles. At the stores around here the old ones are mixed in with the new. I'm betting there will be a few left on the shelf when they hit a penny. :)
