Yeah that looks INCREDIBLY similar to the HF creeper.

If so these are the ones where you MUST loctite the threaded bung that goes over the caster stem. If you don't they ALWAYS loosen up and then bend and eventually break the threaded stem.

Also I've been eyeing those impact sockets at my store on a clearance rack, but I have NO idea what I'd do with deep swivels. Just don't ever need anything like that. That's just me, I'm sure some techs need 'em

Literally was doing the exact same thing with the exact same thoughts. The clearance of these sockets is no better than standard deep on an elbow/swivel/universal.

If I was getting steal on a quality socket, I wouldn't hesitate. But buying something that I don't need ATM, with unknown quality/CS, had to pass.

Was just browsing their sales and clearance and found this

AC Delco Creeper normally $40 on sale for $20.99. The casters broke on mine after some hard use.

If it says available under "Free Pickup In Store", then there's one in stock.

1/2" breaker bar for $5
http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/detail/PTT0/GM8351.oap?clrnct=N0639

Some impact sockets for $8.50

Snagged both sizes in the impacts at my local store, they will make good truck sets.

There also was a gallon of Penzoil 2 cycle oil for $3.47 and I snagged it.

Picked up the PowerTorque 1/2 in breaker bar made in Taiwan 17" end to end.
looks very much like the HD Husky but specs 1-2" longer, but discounted for 1/4 the cost.
Gonna use this to upgrade my trucks piece-o-**** OEM lug nut wrench.

Thanks chipdog4 for the heads-up.

Went in looking for the Pennzoil 2-cycle oil for 87 cents a quart but they didn't have it at the two stores I went into. They had a few socket sets and a breaker bar, not much else. I picked up a screw holding phillips driver marked $1.17 but it rang up for 77 cents. It looks good enough for the rare times I'll use it.

I went to three stores today that all showed the breaker as available in store and it was not to be found in any of them.

As I was in a different city I figured a SD'er was working ahead of me but in one store the guy confirmed their system showed 2 in stock. If they were legitimately purchased I'd expect inventory to reflect zero. In the other two stores I didn't bother to ask.

I checked the clearance rack too in each store.

I'm glad someone is posting this stuff. Last weekend I picked up the sockets, screwdriver and breaker bar. I have no easy way to take a pic.

I just found all 3, not a bad deal for less than 25.00. Thank you chipdog4 for sharing the tip.

My research indicates this breaker bar is from same APEX tool group sources in Taiwan.
Feels and looks solid under torque, vey happy with quality. Fits perfectly inside 1" galvanized pipe for that extra advantage. IDK why folks buy BB w/24" handles harder to fit in tight spots /storage and not any beefier.

Yeah I agree quality seems great on the breaker. I was only trying to source more for the "get stupid" instances - don't care if I break a $5 breaker :D

I've got the harbor freight version of that creeper. After the casters got sloppy I replaced them with some casters that fit the hole in the creeper with threaded stud. I used a "T nut" threaded onto the caster to hold them on. Works better than the original casters. Think I got the new ones at Home Depot. I love the head rest that rises up.

The label says that both the sockets and the breaker bar have a lifetime warranty. So if the 5 buck breaker bar breaks O'Rielly's replaces it. Not a bad deal for either.

went and picked up my two breaker bars this afternoon, and the parts guy could not believe what I paid for them.

OP, thanks for the heads up, Im going to have to add the oreillys clearance page to the list of sites I check for stuff I really absolutely need if its cheap enough, haha.

Look at that receipt and their website. That stuff is sold as is no warranty on clearance items.

That's what I confirmed at the check-out looking on the receipt. The most important thing you left out >>is they don't want ANY returns esp for full price.
for the warrantee Q.> 10 years later, how will they know who did or didn't pay the normal price, they keep a national register? A>they don't!
Bring broken tool and scream ****** murder when they try to deny a replacement. rinse and repeat.

Are they pinned or pinless design?

I think the only company making the pinless design is Apex (Gearwrench/Matco/Armstrong/Craftsman). I'm sure these are not.

They are pinless.
They have a design similar to the old Protos, except its a ball hex, instead of a ball square.
These are 2015 production.
The metric set skips the 15mm.
They have a deep broach, so if a person wanted semi-deeps, they could be cut.
C.O.O. is Taiwan.
Material is CR-V.
Each socket is stamped with the brand, size, and individual part number.

Hopefully everyone else's oreillys are better at online orders then mine

Ordered the impact sockets Friday morning, went to get them lastnight and they apparently didn't pick them

There was a set on the shelf so I was able to get them and also got the breaker bar

Yeah in previous clearance threads it's been suggested the O'Reilly employees can't see what you're paying, but I'm not so sure. I don't trust the online ordering, it may only alert them. Plus I can promise you I'd be the only one in my town doing it - they'd quickly learn that when they see a store pick-up order come thru it's me and if it's for small stuff off the floor it's clearance.

I ordered one of the breaker bars online and picked it up this morning, wish I had bought two. I was the only one in the store and chatted with the two counter guys about it. They were surprised that the clearance price was $5.07 and one of them thought the original price was around $24.00. It looks like good quality, time and use will tell. Thanks to the OP for posting, I never think about O'Reilly's for buying tools.
Regards,
John

Thanks for the posting. The breaker bar looks pretty good for going in the car kit for removing lug nuts. Now to find a good 21mm thin wall deep socket to go with it.

I got this wrench set $13.67. GM4785.

I couldn't find it but said they had it so I asked. They said an employee (who wasn't there) had set it in back for "months" knowing it was clearance. The store manager said sell it.

So employees do snipe these deals.

Also grabbed 2 more breakers at $5.07 which miraculously appeared on the clearance rack.

The wrenches look kinda dumb but good truck bag set.

These wrenches are Taiwan and the ratcheting action is surprisingly smooth with minimal backdrag. The open end is the gimmicky "ratcheting" open end though and looks prone to slipping. And the sizing on this kit is lacking and stops at 18mm (which they desperately try to market as also 23/32" LOL).

But as I said, good for a roadside/trail kit at the price.
