No it's not $199 on the website if you put in my zip. Still shows $324.

The district directly south of me will show $199 for their zip, but they have none. I think I could buy at $324 and return and rebuy at the $199 store, but I don't want one that bad. At $114 I would bite.

I tried to add it and ship to me, but changed to 299$, saying local prices may vary. I have seen it for NLP of 269 at 1 store.

I tried too. Actually I tried starting from the cheaper store then scheduling pickup at the $324 store using the "check nearby stores" but it jumps it back to $324

What's the sku? There were 2 fridges on a cart this morning, I thought it was weird they were sitting there in an aisle. But I did notice 4 more on an upper shelf, so figured they were full price.

That's the 4.4 with no freezer. It's been discussed at length here. I'm surprised there are any left anywhere. Good find!

Easiest way to spot them is to look for ones without a white freezer door in the picture on the box. Also, says 'All Refrigerator' rather than 'Compact Refrigerator'.

I have seen stuff penny at one store and go to $.02 at another. The orbit fire hose nozzle is worth $4.53 or penny but not $19.98. YMMV

I've seen more than a few penny's that were not even worth a penny and I left them there. I'd take bulbs or something I couldn't use, then give it away. But there are some garbage items that are useless or get such bad ratings, even at a penny, there is no point in getting them. Those weber digital temp probe are a penny now but the reviews are horrible so it's an ugly paper weight.

Found a store that had 2 of the Milwaukee top boxes on hand for $50 according to the store computer. I walked around and counted all the $699 pairs and there were in fact 2 extra top boxes. The manager swore it was a mistake and they had no more and I couldn't convince her to sell me one. One of the guys at the pro desk spent a while walking around with me trying to find them as well...bummer.

FWIW new kid at work was in inventory mgmt at HD. He said strict policy against employees buying penny items, they see it as employee theft and he has seen employees successfully prosecuted. According to him official policy is to let customer purchase for a penny of they find it before it is removed from floor. He states those items are pennied out and removed because HD has received a credit from the Mfg and they can no longer sell for a profit, items are supposed to be sent back or destroyed.

Why get a manager involved, grab them, throw them on a cart and go check out.

Easier said than done when they are all on the top shelf of pallet racks and the others are paired with bottom boxes and would ring up as $699. The guy at the pro desk was the one who initiated a talk w/ the manager, not me...he was genuinely trying to help me get the box.

I currently don't have any space for it, so maybe it worked out better this way...

You gotta want it!!

Thanks for leaving them there! Where are you located? I, or my buddies, will go get them if we're close

If the top SKU ends in 1 it's a solo. You can prove it in the PCA

Great, thank you. My store has several at $324 and they're not moving. They don't even have them set up on the floor. I know they're going to drop them further. In fact from what I can see the 36 inch top has been discontinued ; No reason to keep selling the bottoms only.

As far as the fiskars tree pruners go, if you had the choice at $10 or $20 would you go rope or rope less version?

I had the choice and picked the $10. It will give you more power, easier to replace the rope if it breaks, etc.

The $20.03 one does have a pruner head that changes position, so that may help some. http://www.homedepot.com/p/Fiskars-12-ft-Telescoping-Pruning-Stick-92406935J/100200394

Doesn't seem to get great reviews.

The 10 is like or the same one as this. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000XSF3YM/?tag=atomicindus08-20

Good to know...none of the ones I could read ended in 1. However, there were 10 tops boxes on top shelf scattered around the store. I may have to return w/ some binoculars. ;)

HD has the Ryobi 18 volt lithium+ 2 packs of 4ah batteries marked down to $59 (leftover from Christmas where they were $99). If you buy 2 packs (4 batteries), you can also get a charger and small battery free ($59 value).

So for $126 including tax, I got 4 big batteries, a little battery, and a charger.

This is in store only, but here is the link to the info:

If anyone gets a pruning pole. Put a small washer under the head of the bolt for the lever of the extension part. The bolt catches on the lever and will almost certainly back out over time.

Thanks. I had the same thought as far as leverage but I'd never heard of a pruner that wasn't roped, so I didn't know if I was missing something.

And ran across this as well. Maybe they're coming out with something with more torque soon? I really need to get into a new line of power tools but all the "homeowner" brands keep me away with their lower torque 1/2" impacts. I would like a more powerful one for when I'm working on cars / timing belts and chains etc.
