Not really in the garage, This is my 64 1/2 convertible that hasnt been on the road since 1974. I've had it 12 years but not much has been done to it for about 5 years. All I need to finish it is a little motivation and a lot of money.

Its a factory 4spd, posi,289 D code engine. The good thing is it was nearly 100% original when I got it, The bad was that it sat in a dirt floor garage for 20 years before it was rescued

From the picture it looks like you got someone intersted in her . :)

Better get started on the restoration.:bounce:

Well, don't get too excited. That Mustang is a 6-cylinder/auto, and there is a an unkindly amount of rust underneath. But it was an awesome find! Hey, I was hoping it was an old Ford tractor, so seeing the backend of an early Mustang convertible was just too cool.
wow! even a 6er is nice to cruise in espcially a vert. Congrats:thumbup:

Since this thread kinda viered off onto pictures of Stangs more than "Stang Garages," I guess I have to post a pic of my POS now.
2003 SVT Cobra with Whipple 2.3L Twin Screw. 585 RWHP on pump gas, consistent 10.80's on Street Slicks and 11.20's on Drag Radials. She's full weight with all the creature comforts of a stock Cobra and gets about 20 MPG to boot. In the pics, it's got it's street feet on, True Forged Turn 8's in 18x9 and 18x10.5 with Anthricite centers and polished lips.

A couple SVOs....

Love the SVOs. Wish I still had mine. I bought it new in 84. This is the only picture that I have of it:

svo.jpg

And a picture of the 79 Mustang that I bought new:

Terrible pics I know, I used to carry them around in my wallet many years ago and just got around to scanning them recently.

Good to hear theres other 69 GT's around. I also have one. My garage still needs to be finished inside( insulation, drywall, and floor) But its also a working garage. Id post pic of my garage but there all in my laptop which is being repaired. So here is my GT.
Love the neon!!

Oh gosh this brings back memories. Many years ago, Dad sold his 69 Mach 1 in Jade Green a week before I turned 16. His rationale at the time was that he would rather lose the car than me and the car when I wrecked it doing something totally stupid.

What was the show,¨Father Knows Best¨? Perhaps he was right...

I know the feeling, my mom had a 69 Cougar with a 390 big block that I'd kill for, but I think the oil crisis forced my parents to get rid of it :( . Heck, if I could just have one of the cars my old man had I'd be thrilled too. 70 Nova SS 396, 70 Road Runner 440 6 pack, 69 Z28, 65 GTO convertible Tri-Power, 65 Falcon, 63 Fairlane, etc.... Man the list goes on and on.
I guess my kids will be saying the same thing though. I've had some pretty cool cars, but for us their a dime a dozen. By the time my kids are old enough to care about a car, they'll probably feel the same way about my cars that I feel about my dads.

I hear you PistolWhip...while i have had a couple ´neat´rigs, I am primarily a truck guy that only a boy would appreciate...but my young daughter would totally love my wife´s past rigs, heck a boy would probably love them too.
At least there are memories, could be worse!

Well after seeing all of the cool garages that you guys put your cool mustangs in I felt a little inadequate. my garage is in the long process of finishing the interior. so I took the ugliest corner of my garage where I had several of those metal shelf units that I bought at garage sales to just put **** on while I was working on the place. because I moved from a house and a garage that was much larger than our current place I needed this shop as soon as it was done just to unload everything. anyway that area as frequently happens just got more and more ugly. so after being adequately shamed by all you guys and your awesome garages I decided to clean up that corner and in the process do a little decorating. I have never done that in a garage. it has always just been functional I am no master craftsman but it turned out much better than it was, thanks for all the help.

I still need to finish out the wall behind the toolboxes but I just finished painting the doors last night and wanted to get a couple pics up before I messed them up lol.

Heck, I'd kill for a work space like that! I love the work bench and storage you have there, I need someting like that but just don't have the space yet. I'm working in a tiny 1 car garage with enough **** packed in it to fill a 3 car....
Hopefully next spring I'll have the financing worked out to start my dream garage build. Until then, I'm stuck in my little cubby hole.

There are some really nice Mustangs and garages on here. I don't have any good pictures of my shop/garage with the Mustangs in it, but here are the pictures I do have:

07 Shelby GT

92 Mustang 5.0 Convertible (older picture we just painted it Performance Red)

Here are 2 pictures of the shop:

shop1.jpg

shop9.jpg

I also have a 93 Mustang 5.0 Hatchback, but I couldn't find any pictures of it.

Finally I have the 04 and 09 F150s. Don't be alarmed, that is the first time that truck has ever had to be towed. It was for a good reason though. I was rescueing my uncle, his Chevy truck broke down while pulling a camper trailer, so I needed both trucks to get everything home. I have a bunch of other pictures of my Ford's pulling broke down Chevy's, but I didn't post them since I assumed all the other Ford owners probably have similar photos.

There is a Hoover Steamvac in one of the pictures. Is that what you were wondering about? I have no idea what it is, that is my wife's tool  It is just there since we had to steam clean the carpets in the rental house out front a few days before I took the pictures of the shop.

I think you forgot to plug in the trailer lights. :spit:

:bounce: Actually that was one of the safety chains, somehow it came off on the trip down. I guess that is what happens when you hook the trailer up at 4am.

I posted a couple pictures some time ago but thought I would post a few updated ones. I sold the green 95 that was in previous pics and picked up a 96 shortly afterwards. Also a couple newer additions to teh garage since last time....still unsatisifying after looking at many garages in here though. lol

Here's 2 of my fords, I dont have any pics of the others on this computer yet. I also have a '67 Ford Country Sedan Station wagon(all original, solid Grandma's garage find) and a '62 Falcon awaiting a Turbocoupe driveline transplant.

This is the '68 Falcon w/428scj motor, full rollcage, tubbed project I have on a rotisserie as we speak.

Here's my Ford next to my wood shed. I've been working on my 48 x 36 garage but haven't taken picture yet 1966 Ford Fairlane GTA

Love your 66 GTA. Unfortunately, I currently am garageless for my 67 XL 500. My last house I had built a 24 x 48 3 story monster. Still figuring out what I might be able to build here.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention my 2002 Mustang GT. 4.10's, MM full length Subframe connectors, T/A girdle, welded tubes, speedcal, Tri-Ax shifter...etc...
Also my 1994 Lightning pickup and 2001 Crown Vic P71.....

Has anyone ever seen one of these before?
I had the chance to buy it one time but I decided not to.
I just like the picture, it had a 351 from what I can recall, and mustang interior too.
