My 5 drawer red cart has sat in the back of the garage, ever since I bought it, and contained only a hodgepodge of misc.
Yesterday I played Tetris with the single car garage full of stuff, and finally dragged it out and emptied it.
Today I started stocking it.
Where I am, my garage is a small 1 car, stuffed with things, and no room for a car. I have been working in the street, but it's a pain to bring each tool out and take them back in whenever I took a break. So I stored the most used ones in the trunk of the car in the driveway.
The new plan is to work on vehicles in the driveway and pull the cart out for convenience, and roll it back in when I take a break.
My 42" HF roller is just a few feet further in the garage, so less often used tools can stay there. And I'm not doing major work like engine and trans. Just brakes and front end and typical maintenance. So this cart only needs basic stuff in it. No need for electrical tools or supplies etc. And it can be resupplied for different uses anyway. No need to put everything in it, That's what the roller is for. For electrical, I want to put together a hand carry plastic box I can just throw up on the cart or take out on it's own.
Some of the mods in this thread would definitely make it more serviceable (Pun intended). A shelf, drawer lock disabling, hanging hook for creeper and better ways to store tools efficiently inside and out would help. Side cabinet not needed, and the bottom tray can just be used for bulky things and parts. Right now I have a ball joint set and accessory set and front end parts there.
So let me make a list of what I want to put in and on it:

When I go to use it, I'll throw the rolling stool on it upside down. Might like a thick rubber mat on top so I can toss jack stands on it too. Jack is aluminum, so I can drag out by the handle. Need a chock too.
